Beautiful forest with lots of generous sized sites to choose from. Our dogs had lots of room to play during the week, not many campers at this time. We loved the trails at the entrance to the campground that led to the lake or along the river. Very beautiful walks with the dogs. No cell service at all for us though. AT&T.

Very few people right after Labour Day, so lovely and quiet by the river. Short drive and walk to the hot springs. Good level site for dry camping in a trailer. No host on site at that time. Had some confusion with someone who drove up and said they had reserved our site for that night, just after we had set up. But no notices anywhere about reserving at that day and we heard via the rumour mill that no reservations were available after Labour Day, so perhaps the reservation system has some issues Anyway, this was our favourite spot in our 3 week camping expedition.

We stayed here in our 24th class c after enjoying the hot springs. Stayed the night and woke up to work remotely. 4 bars Verizon LTE - strong signal. Make sure to look up at the stars if you stay here!! 🤩✨🚍

Nice sized and well spaced out sites. There were many trailers, campers etc. Our 27' fit into a group site with MUCH room to spare. Pit toilets were ok, seemed to be maintenanced regularly, although they could use more trashcans. There is a big group site that has a huge shade structure and two loops for smaller parties. There is a big group site that has a huge shade structure and two loops for smaller parties. One loop is reservable, the second loop is first come first serve. Both loops felt/looked the same.
We drove our motorbike up the windy, gravel road to Umpqua Hot Springs (which was so crowded!) but was a nice access point to cross the river (big bridge) and hang out for the afternoon.

The campgrounds at Toketee Lake are nice. Great size, reasonable rate, and pretty location. However, the mosquito population is out of control. The campground its self is just ok there is nothing to get excited for, the spaces are pretty close together there is a few good pull through sites for a trailer (not a very big one). The spots next to the river get packed quick the other side by the road where I stayed at had a little more room and less people but you definitely get some noise from cars coming and going. The fire pits are nice size but my site and many others had lots of trash laying around and at $10 bucks a night I feel like your paying for the trash service (a dumpster to put your trash that I guess people don't know how to use) and a vault toilet which the toilet is the same at most free sites. The campground is close to lots of activities just feel its not worth the $10 a night. And a heads up there was zero cell reception and zero radio stations which me personally I enjoyed but not everyone likes to disconnect.

We had this place to ourselves in early March. The Lake is not really much to see but the river is nice. Solar could be tricky in most sites. Very close to the trailhead that will take you to the spectacular Toketee Falls. Don't miss this short walk to a platform suspended in a tree overlooking the falls. A couple miles up a dirt road is Umpqua Hot Springs. You can camp there as well but with a trailer, you'd likely have to park out on the road with a multicolored hippie school bus or two. Not specific sites otherwise, just more of a communal free for all. Springs are fun but be ready to share them (with naked people).
