Close enough to I 22 (less than 10 min drive) to make driving a bit off the main drag worth it for the peace and quiet. I gave it 4 star for site quality because the driveway and pads are not paved. This did not bother us but might others. The woods, deer and quiet made our stay very restful. We would stop again.

Independence Day 2021. Heading to MS but needed a stop-over. Lovely rustic place. Full hookups. Junior is a great guy, but not in favor of long stop overs. A night or two is good. Any longer and you’re overstaying your welcome.

As a mile marker looking for an overnight this is quite alright. Cash or check only. He was ready with change and doggie treats in his shirt pocket. I felt like if I had a problem of any kind he would do all he could to help.

Wonderful host built up this sweet park by hand. Do call ahead so he can show you in as there’s no signage. Spots are quiet, shaded and roomy. Host mentioned deer and turkey sightings on the property. Small bathhouse with washer/dryer and one shower. Full hookups avail. AT&T 3 bars.

Great place! Slept well under oaks, pines, and sweet gums. Well worth getting off the main Highway. Very quiet and peaceful. Junior, the owner, is a fascinating guy. We would return here, should we ever be here
