“Tight, but a live and let live vibe - totally a shame this is the last year.”

Wish we had discovered this years ago. Being able to walk across the street into the lake would have been amazing when the kids were young. Peachland is a really nice place which we hope won't be messed up with the gentrification of the waterfront.
This place has been sold and next year will be $1,000,000+ condos. Go now or miss out!

We called and booked a day ahead; being late September no problem. We got a back in site (46) with nice trees behind us; directly across from a small playground. The sites are tight and they do pack them in with little to no privacy between rigs. We were fine with our 25’ motor home and also staying only one night. There were quite a few very large rigs and I also heard someone asking for extra nights so folks seemed fine. I liked the back row better than sites in the center which appeared more crowded. The folks at the office were very friendly and helpful, gave me advice on directions etc for our next day drive. WiFi works best if you sit near the office - there is a bench and the camp hosts offered their picnic table. Showers were closed due to Covid, so no advice there. The location of the RV park directly across from Lake Okanagan was great and the big selling point here. We took a lovely walk along the waterside in the evening. The views on the drive in and out of this area are fantastic!

We camped here twice in the off-season which we still find expensive. I believe we paid about $40/night, but it climbs to $85/night in the peak season! GASP! We mostly do off-road/FSR camping but once in a while we treat ourselves to full hookups! The sites are very nicely groomed and clean. No fires allowed though (Peachland law) so we were bummed out about that. The beach is right across the street which is so nice to walk at night and watch all the bats scooping up bugs! If you don’t mind not having any privacy and being packed in like sardines, then give it a go. It’s not our cup of tea but like I mentioned earlier, it is nice to hookup once in a while. Our first time there we found that everyone went to bed at 8 while we were just getting “primed”! LOL! Not that we are party animals, but it was a bit odd! The hosts are awesome, the full-timers that stay there are a wealth of information, advice and knowledge and awesome people! This is the perfect place for those with kids! I have to say it is a fun place, but our ultimate preference is in the woods with privacy, but that’s just us.
