My stay was Sunday through Tuesday. No other campers. Was super quiet and didn't even hear but a few vehicles going down the road that's nearby. Site was well taken care of and not littered everywhere. You will find occasional TP in the brush when you go to do your bathroom break as there is no restrooms there. Looking for a quiet night away from the busy campgrounds of Mount Pinos? FREE CAMPING. If you don't mind a little dirt road driving, head over to Quatal Canyon for Toad Springs. Camp is less than 1 mile from highway. Minimal facilities - picnic tables and fire pits. No toilets! Wildlife visits marshy creek with meadow at dusk and dawn.... more

OK spot for the night (can be windy). Nothing interesting to spend more than a night here.

Several spots. Fire rings. No toilets. Access might be a tricky for a low vehicle.
