Very serene and beautiful!

The restaurant serves huge portions for dinners! Walk around the “lake” and enjoy the view and the many birds. The only negative thing I can say is that if you get here early in the season, the water isn’t turned on and even the bathhouses are closed. They did offer to let us fill our tank from the spigot on the side of the lodge building. You do hear a bit of traffic noise from the highway, but it’s not too bad.

Stayed here on 4/6/2024. Great campsite for a one night layover. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the Site was level, had 30 amp service and a working sewer dump. Water was still off due to winter temps. Easy pull through site with roomy open play area. I would stay here again.

The cafe serves good food. The cabins look new. The laundry is clean, new and expensive. $12 per load (wash and dry) so we waited to do ours. Watched a moose, elk herd and swans from our backyard. It advertises cable but that didn't work. We didn't have Verizon signal but they have internet.

Booked this campground the day of just shortly before arriving and got a lakeside back in spot. Huge spot for our little van. After a long day of driving, this place was a pleasant surprise. Clean bathrooms and they sell food and gas on site.

We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was fresh and hot. No complaints.

We had a back-in site and didn’t use any of their services other than to get gas for our truck. Pretty much the only option in Toad River since the other place was closed. We were told their Wi-Fi didn’t work upon checking in and it sounds like it’s an ongoing problem. No cell service.
