We had a gigantic site for an RV park. It was close enough to Acadia NP but without the zoo. Most of the site are seasonal but I didn't feel unwelcome. In fact just the opposite.
It was a bit noisy at times but quieted down after dark. Very close to town with all the amenities.

Our spot was with no shade (the majority of them are like it), but we prefer it bc of Starlink (requires no obstructions!). Very spacious between campsites.
Each has a fire ring and a table.
Our site was Pull Thru on gravel. Highly recommend!

The sites were easy to back in to (they also have pull throughs). Packed gravel and level with 30/50 FHU. Located about 5 minutes from Ellsworth where there is a super Walmart, restaurants etc. Roughly 40 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The laundry is clean with lots of machines. $2.50 for wash and $2.50 for dry. A large staff was continuously working to keep the park clean and maintained. There is an ice cream shop on premises for post-lobster dessert. My T-Mobile 5G hotspot DL speeds were low, but enough to stream and Internet search. Be patient when exiting the park. There's one road to Bar Harbor and it's busy. Highly recommend the ParkMobile app for use when visiting Bar Harbor. The park was quiet at night (and during the day). The sites are far enough from the road that you get zero road noise. Bonus points for a full recycling station. Glass, cans, cardboard etc. In conclusion, a great place to stay, but kind of a long commute to Bar Harbor.

This is a large and busy park. At least half the park is seasonals. Kids and dogs abound during the day but it’s pretty quiet at night. It’s hit or miss as far as how level the sites are or how much space is between sites. The sites are mostly dirt with small gravel which will end up inside your rig. The sites in our section were staggered which was nice as we were close together. In the middle of the campground are some insanely long, not necessarily level, sites. It looked comical when a camper van was parked in one of these. Each site has a plastic picnic table and fire pit. There is no cable but you can get a few OTA. Satellite is possible in most sites. The WIFI worked pretty good – until it didn’t. We ended up using our hot spots a lot. Luckily, Verizon had 4g 3 bars. They have a large laundry room, and it stays busy. There is also a small pool and playground area. The big beef that will keep us from coming back? Low voltage from the power pole. We are all electric so that quickly became a problem. Without running any heavy-duty appliances, the voltage on each leg ran around 115. Turn on an A/C and it would drop to 108-110. After our surge protection saved us from disaster after running all 3 A/Cs, we only ran 2 at a time but we were still jumpy! We notified the campground of the problem. They checked it out but they said it was within power company limits so they couldn’t do anything. Huh. We talked to several other campers near us that were having the same problem. They need to fix this! Be aware that if you stay a month or longer you have to be in the same site the entire time to get the discounted rate. Electric is a separate charge. The park is close to Ellsworth with plenty of shopping. It is 20-30 minutes to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Traffic is nuts. Check out Mardens – you can always find something! Also, Hannaford has great prices on fresh lobster and will steam them for free. And they do a great job!

They had a few activities planned for the 4th of July weekend such as bingo and a decorated golf cart/bike/pet parade through the park. We were not too far of a drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor which is why we chose this campground. They are one of the least expensive in the area. We only had a water and electric site because that’s all they had available for the week. Our water pressure was low but manageable. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The prettier wooded sites and those on the exterior of the main loop were taken by seasonal residents, some appear to winter their rigs here. The pull through sites in the center were VERY long. The park is fairly close to Acadia so we day tripped to the park. We even found a Lobster Shack that was not yet closed for the season. Be prepared for lots of traffic out to Acadia even though so many things were closed for the season.
We used their laundry, be sure to get quarters from the office. Pool and game rooms were closed for the season. The trash is at the entrance, but we saw people put their trash bags out for pickup.

Long term residents make up a good 50% of this park. Varying degrees of cleanliness with that. They all are too comfortable in my opinion, leaving lots of things lying around.
One has a fenced in yard with 3 dogs left outside unattended often. Lots of dog poop on their gravel that you smell when walking by. Stayed here 2+ nights and they never picked it up. Staff doesn’t enforce rules with long term residents it seems.
It’s an ok place overall and we may stay here again in the future.

Easy parking, although this specific site is just after a bend in the road, so a bit tighter than some. 50A full hook-ups. No cable (that's not a negative for me as we don't use it). On the very wet day of arrival, WiFi was 0.5mbps down and less up, so we didn't use it. Cell data was good using a WeBoost, although not essential for reasonable data rates.
Verizon data solid at 20/16 mbps
T-Mobile 50/6 mbps
Sprint 0.5/0.1 mbps
The campground is primarily about easy access to Arcadia, so it gets good marks for that. Personally, the big-rig open field is not my favorite style. So there are no walks, other than the roads. There are few trees in the big-rig section, and they are mainly around the perimeter. But its functional, its near to Ellsworth and when we tripped the main breaker a couple of times they were very responsive coming over to fix it.

Long, level gravel sites with FHU's. Interior roads are easy to navigate without unhooking the toad. Clean facilities including pool, playground, clubhouse, arcade, & laundry. 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. Friendly staff. We camped at Timberland Acres RV Park in a Motorhome. Also near Acadia NP. No shortage of lobster pounds either.
