Overall Rating

We had a bit of an emergency, so I texted late at 8:30 PM to ask if I could get a site. Thankfully it was the slow season (February), and we rolled in at 10:30 PM. We ended up booking for the month. The owner is great and easy to talk to, and you can tell they put a lot of care, effort, and work into the campground. There's a wooded trail to walk, and there are herb gardens that you can harvest from. The campground is clean and easy to maneuver, though the road in is a bit narrow at one spot (I am only mentioning this because I like to know those details ahead of time). Verizon cell service is decent for working. Overall, I highly recommend this place! Easily one of the best places we've stayed in 4 years on the road.

Overall Rating

Drove in early afternoon. The road is fairly narrow so take it slow. Once I got up the hill to my site it was such a great spot. Large site. Well maintained. Fire pit. Picnic table. Beautiful view of a cow pasture. Very tranquil and safe. I loved my stay here and definitely will be back!!
