The temps were great for dry camping in summer and it is right off the highway. I pulled my 26’ trailer through and took spot 1, a pull-through, we fit with room to spare but pulling in was a little unnerving considering the lean on the site. The worst was the mosquitos, it’s the worst swarm I’ve ever seen. There was hundreds while setting up my camper as quickly as possible. We rushed into the camper and proceeded to kill at least 40 inside from our quick entry. But once in, the screens held the bug off. I think most people will leave here eaten up.

This was great site in a beautifully forested area close to I-80 without any road noise. It is near the Lincoln monument. Only a handful of sites were taken at 6 pm on a Wednesday night (5/31/2023). At this time of year they were not taking reservations and sites are available first come, first served. The sites were spacious and spread out with gravel pad and lots of trees and bushes. The road was a well maintained gravel road suitable for all but the largest rigs due to the trees lining the roadway. No hook-ups, but has pit toilets. I would have liked to stay longer but we were on a road trip and only staying for the night.

Stayed 9/18/18. Limited spots. Great location for being right off the interstate. The road in was dirt. Even though we only stayed one night we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I wish I had longer to stay than just one night. It says "small trailers only" but I found a site that was set back from the road where there was enough room to parallel park our 36' travel trailer and truck in front. For us it was just a place to spend the night, but it was a beautiful facility.

Just off interstate where Lincoln bust is located and before Curt Gowdy State Park. Secluded yet close to Laramie. Road very rutted although traversed with 30ft motorhome pulling a toad ( should have unhooked the car) Stayed in June. Mosquitoes eliminated any outside relaxing. Would try another time.

We wanted to stop here but the 4-5 sites that could fit our rig were full. The campground road is tight and sites are dirt. There wasn't enough room for us to make the turn to wrap around the loop again.
The sites we looked at were pretty unlevel and overall not great quality. We ended up on Government Gully road instead.
