Overview of Tie City Campground

Tie City Campground's interior road is narrow and rough in places. Some campsites are nestled in a dense grove of aspen, fir and spruce, others are in a grassy meadow. The campground is convenient to a network of challenging mountain bike trails. There are nearby corrals.

“Beautiful place to visit. ”

I wish I had longer to stay than just one night. It says "small trailers only" but I found a site that was set back from the road where there was enough room to parallel park our 36' travel trailer and truck in front. For us it was just a place to spend the night, but it was a beautiful facility.

“Great overnight stop close to interstate ”

Just off interstate where Lincoln bust is located and before Curt Gowdy State Park. Secluded yet close to Laramie. Road very rutted although traversed with 30ft motorhome pulling a toad ( should have unhooked the car) Stayed in June. Mosquitoes eliminated any outside relaxing. Would try another time.
