“Great little spot - Close to Lava Beds”

Overall Rating

We stayed in Late May and had the place all to ourselves. Very room, quite and super close to the visitor center. We LOVED Lava beds and having the rig so close meant we got to take breaks from caving to rest and eat lunch instead of packing everything to take with us. We would highly recommend. Easy to get to and plenty of space for big rigs. Only downside was limited cell coverage.

“I checked it out and not a bad spot”

I didn't stay here, but I did check it out as I drove by. There was enough room for me to pull a u-turn with my HDT and 42' 5th wheel (65' total) without having to back up. It's only about 1/2 mile off a paved road and very easy to get to. There is actually room on both sides of the road. My only dislike was it was very shaded (late afternoon) so wasn't going to work well with my solar. It should be a nice quiet area. I ended up staying in the Curren #2 spot just down the road, but this spot would have actually been easier to get into as it's more open.
