“Very relaxing site - several options”

We stayed at this site on Fathers Day weekend. There were lots of different sites to choose from. Some were shaded and others were lakefront, while some were up on the ridges/cliffs overlooking the lake. The first day we stayed on a gorgeous cliff overlooking the lake. This site was beautiful and quiet and we weren’t concerned about our generator being too loud for others. However, on the cliff it was windy. So the second night we camped at a lower spot next to one of the little picnic huts and fire pits near the water. This spot was perfectly out of the way of other campers and had a block from the wind with the picnic hut.

There are no hookups if you take a free site. However near the marina you can take a site for $20/night with water and electric. There is a sewer dump on site for $5 per use as well.

We recommend fishing the dock near the marina. We caught walleye, perch, and suckers, but they report all sorts of trout and carp in the lake as well. Very fun. There is a boat ramp as well.

No off road vehicles allowed at this site.

The marina has a wonderful family helping out newbies and they have a lot of good information if you have questions.

Cell phone service is spotty. You can move sites to find service. We also found a few antenna channels on the TV!

Great spot for boondocking and relaxing.
