We couldn’t have have the passport America price as it was 2 weeks before Mardi Gras but they offered an extra night so we stayed for a total of 8 nights. We booked before knowing anything about the neighbourhood!
The campground is a flat grassed-ish and gravel-ish surface with full hookups. There is literally 3 oaks and one pine at the front; so no shade BUT great for starlink service!!!!
We didn’t have any problems with the hookups. It’s a great place for full time RVers to receive parcels.
It’s all fenced up and code-gated at night. A lot of lights illuminating the campground at night. So much so that you don’t need any flashlight or any other light to get the dogs do their business pass 8pm. Unfortunately, this also means you have to cover your windows and domes if you want to sleep. That is if you can sleep throughout train noises, GUNSHOTS (!!!) and cars and motorcycles racing through the night. We left this 8 days “vacation” extremely tired and cranky. We loves N.O. but we were extremely happy to leave and would never go back. Nor would recommend any campground in this neighbourhood.
P.S. I never left a bad review or this long ever.

We stayed for our sons wedding in NOLA. It was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. It’s not the Ritz, but perfect for us regular folks!

It was less than $20 to Uber to the French Quarter from here. Friendly staff with good communication. Fenced all around and gated.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was free but not too fast, even with a booster. Got good Verizon service though.

Other reviewers are right, it's a sketchy neighborhood. But the park is fenced and gated, with a guard dog. It's noisy at night with street traffic and loud industrial sounds at odd hours. It's between several auto repair shops. Owner was very nice. Provided lots of restaurant recommendations. Our $30 a night price was for full-hookups with a Passport America discount.

This is basically a large, gated, flat, unpaved lot that you can back in to a space on either side (no pull-thru). The individual spaces are fairly level and close. The water pressure is a bit low. There is a clubhouse with a lounge and a small laundry area. We had 30amp FHUs and 4 bars Verizon LTE.
The area is sketchy, and we were advised by our Lyft driver to stay inside the RV park, but we never felt unsafe while we were there.

Excellent location, free wifi (speedy!), cable tv, showers (new and nice) and excellent on-site manager. I cannot say enough great things about Dave who runs the park. They were making improvements while we were there.
It did get a little muddy during our stay but new pads and a drainage system were being installed, which made a HUGE difference. Only one washer/dryer which was frustrating at times. But they are working on getting at least one more.
Granted it's not in the "best neighborhood," but being New Orleans you can be on a nice street turn a corner.... they have an a gate and cameras. We felt safe staying there.
Directly behind the park are the tracks where the trains make connections which can get a little noisy. It's fun to watch and you might even get a wave from the conductor!
Friends raved about the fancy park in the French Quarter. We took a look at it. While it seemed very nice, we stayed for a month here for less than a week there!
That's our Airstream and red F150 in the photos.
