The Vineyards Campground & Cabins

The host was very helpful when we called with questions and on check-in. The spaces are easy to find and spaced far apart. There's a store with items to buy in a pinch. We met some of the residents who were all super nice. There are weekly activities.

Wifi was spotty, but Tmobile service was fine. There are 2 bath houses. The one furthest from the gate is more private and handicap accessible.

We arrived to this serene area after a grueling drive thru Dallas. Sites and roads are all paved, situated and spaced around a lake and marina. Fairly level sites, lots of green and the friendliest staff. Well stocked camp store. Wifi is strong and many cable stations. Sites are well appointed with lighted pedestals, furniture and custom fire pits. Firewood sold at the store so no hauling. Bathhouse is clean and private. Can’t think of one negative. This campground is owned by the city. Great job, Grapevine.

Excellent campground for basing visits into Dallas / Fort Worth area. Beautiful lakeside FHU sites with level concrete pads, good water, and clean 20/30/50 amp electric. Grounds are very well maintained, bath/showers were kept clean and supplied. Generally quiet except for minor jet noise, from being near DFW airport take-off/approach paths. Saw a few sites that looked like seasonal or snowbirds Wintering in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Love love love this place. We had site 38 and loved it. The sites were separated with enough space that you didnt feel on top of each other. Power was steady, water had great pressure. The only issue was the weather. We hunkered down for 2 days during and ice storm. Wow! The showers were clean and the laundry I room was spotless. A definite return stop on our list.
