The golf course was very green and pleasant to look at. However st $115 per night the wifi didn’t work at all and the pool was dirty and the check in was cursory without the ability to add colour to the area we arrived to.
Shower stalls by the pool were just a tad janky for such a high price in my opinion. Some sort of RV club took over a good part of the pool deck making it awkward to use the hot tub area. I would consider staying here again but might also check if the area had something with better value for us.

Clean and quiet. Love the escort to our site and the cute puppy picture carved into the sand at our site. Appreciated the free wash station for truck.

We stayed here over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Spaces were roomy, long and far enough apart from your neighbor. We didn’t golf, but the golf course was well-maintained and the RV sites were immaculate as well. They do trash and recycle pick up from your site and there is a pool, several small jacuzzis, tennis and pickle ball courts. Beware that everyone has a dog, and they all bark at each other. They don’t allow open fires, but you can bring your propane fire pit. We did the Palm Canyon nature trail to a desert oasis. Evidently at certain times you can see bighorn sheep, we did not. Galleta Meadows is pretty neat. Lots and lots of large metal sculptures that you can drive right up to. We ate at the Coyote steakhouse on Christmas Day, for a delicious prime rib dinner, and it’s pretty much the nicest restaurant in town. We also had burgers at Big Horn burgers and shakes, located at the Palm Canyon RV resort. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in 3 sites and all were great (707 FHU 50 amp pull-through, 931 FHU 50 amp back-in to gold course, 311 FHU 50 amp back-in—311 was our favorite site)
Staff: Staff are helpful.
Sites: All 3 were pavement pads with compacted sand patio areas
Campground Road: Nicely paved.
Campground WiFi: Worked when the park was empty but could not connect once other folks started showing up.
Grounds: Clean and maintained really well.
Bathrooms/Showers: Lockable individual shower rooms. Very comfortable and feels new.
Laundry: Good laundry facility. Lots of washers and dryers.
Pool & Mineral Baths: Great pool and the mineral baths are awesome (2 small/individual and 1 normal group hot tub)
Location: 3 min from town center, groceries, restaurants, and gas.
Near highway: Well off of the main busier road. But, none of the roads are busy necessarily as this is in the middle of the desert.
Near train: No.
Cell: Verizon worked best compared to AT&T. We work on a vpn and could stream.
Cell: AT&T strong enough but just a touch less than Verizon. We work on a vpn and could stream.

We visited right before Thanksgiving 2023, and it was a convenient place to explore the town of Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego and OHV areas. Although I had planned to do a lot more hiking, the family decided to just hang out at the RV Resort which was nice for kids. We were there for 3 full days, and we went to the pool, hot tub and mineral baths 4 times! The pool water was warmer than the air temperature, and the three mineral baths and really big hot tub was nice and hot.
The kids loved riding their bikes both in the day and night time around the park - there's a lot of road to ride! We were there for their Campfire Night which was a lot of fun - they provide the fire, hot dogs, s'mores and sticks, and you can just cook and eat. It started getting a bit crowded about 30 minutes into the time slot. The other nice thing is that they just email you all of the wifi codes and rules.
The only weird thing about this place is that I felt like we were there during an off-season. A lot of their rules are still based upon the covid pandemic but aren't really enforced (for example, their website and rules say that you have to reserve time for the mineral baths, but you don't). There was a fitness center, but it was locked - I kept forgetting to ask someone what the door code was. The store at the Resort was pretty good, and the sites had a few small plantings between each one.

I don't really know how to review this park because it was the first time we have ever stayed in an "RV resort." We had full hookups (also a first for us) and they worked fine. We have a tiny trailer so we had to place it towards the back of the space because we don't have a long sewer hose nor long water hose. The picnic table was at the very front on the space so not anywhere near where our trailer was in the back. We had a golf course view but it really wasn't a great view. To me the mountains are the best view and you can see them from anywhere. (We were with a large group and got a special rate--I would not have paid the full price to have a golf course view.) The biggest positive--They have a lot of bathrooms with free showers, which is nice. There's a large laundry room that requires quarters but also has a large basin if you need to just rinse out a few things. The biggest negatives were the following--#1. Nearly ZERO WiFi connection. Sometimes we could send a text but usual not. (You can't use the WiFi up at the office.) It was very frustrating because our plans for after this stay changed but we couldn't get a connection to map out a new vacation plan. I actually had to text my sister who looked up RV park telephone numbers so I could make phone calls. The park should not advertise WiFi. #2. It was great to have a pool because it was hotter than heck but the pool was typically packed and the water was cloudy. Maybe they need more chlorine. I would camp here again if going to Anza Borrego State Park because the time period when we went, electric hookups for A/C were a must and the pool was refreshing.

The people next to us had three dogs that barked--and this is no exaggeration, we timed it--for at least three hours, non-stop, every afternoon. And on-and-off throughout the day as well. You're thinking, "That's not the park's fault!" but, oh yes it is. After three complaints to the office, the only thing the park did was "mention it" to the owners. They apologized, but it continued and continued; and set off all the other dogs nearby. Every day. The park needs to set up consequences. If someone is bothering everyone around them, whether that's by being loud, dirty, or otherwise offensive, they need to be asked to leave. We shouldn't have to pay hundreds of (non-refundable) dollars to be barked at all day.

We loved this RV Park so much we extended our stay and booked again next year. Most friendly and hardest working hosts we have ever seen. The entire park is ultra clean and service oriented. Agree with last post that most people including most hosts were not wearing masks and this was Jan- Feb 2021. But easy to escape to a great walking/ biking path around perimeter of property with hardly a soul using it. And there are so many amazing and empty hiking paths in the nearby state park. We unfortunately did not take advantage of the many amenities due to COVID caution.
