Campsites are right on the river and spread out. Yes there is a 5 mile dirt road to get into the campsite but it’s grated and mostly flat. As long as you go slow (10-15mph) it’s fine for most vehicles. I have a dodge camper van and was fine as long as I didn’t go over 20mph

“Nice Location but Campground Needs Attention”

The campground is primitive with no running water and a pit toilet (bring your own TP). Most of the sites are nicely situated near the river. It's best suited for people with tents, pop-ups, and small trailers. I would recommend parking at the pit toilet and then go scout out a spot for the size of your camp setup. The access to some of the sites in the northern part of the campground is a bit rough. The dirt road in from 338 is rough with washboards for a good 3 miles of it's length. And they are deep! The best part of the campground is it's proximity to the river.
