The staff/owners could not have been nicer. We felt very welcome. The place was clean and very well kept. There was a little highway noise due to the location but the song birds more then made up for that. This rv park would go on my top list to stay again. Great job Texas RV!

The campground has great ambience. They have a nice variety of entertaining free range chickens and a group of penned goats. There is shade and the sites are level. The showers were under construction and only one of what will be two restrooms was open. If the restrooms were in better shape, this would have been a 5 star review. It is... more

Stayed 1 night on our travels Jan 2023. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Close to highway, eateries, shops. Nice size sites for an RV park. Will come back for sure.

We stayed on night on our way west to AZ. Nice level sites and Crystal guided us to our site as we arrived after dark. Good water pressure, power seemed clean. Noise from trucks on highway but it didn’t bother us. Chickens, ducks, cats and goats to greet us in the morning.

After speaking to the owners (who have owned it for a few years now and take great pride in it) it is in the process of getting more level but the lack of rain has caused the gravel not to pack like it should. They have a HUGE sites for big rigs which was nice for us. Laundry room was great. Dog run worked out nicely, they had ducks in the small dog area which was fun. They also had a donkey and some goats you could interact with. There is not much to do in Shamrock in general so consider that if you are thinking of staying for long periods.

We stayed here last Aug and again last night. John & Crystal are great hosts/owners. We especially like the animals and farm like setting. Facilities are great and easy access off I40. They even extended me a military discount. Highly recommend!!! We will be back😊

We absolutely loved this place. John checked us in. Super friendly and very low-key. The barnyard animals were great. Kids played on the swings. I watched the trucks breeze by on I-40. Headed into Shamrock, which is a hidden gem on Route 66. This place is a gem.
