We've been RVing for 17 years and have put 150,000 miles on our current coach. I don't usually leave reviews, but I rely heavily on the reviews I find here, which is why I was disappointed that this had five stars.
The park uses a third party vendor called roverpass to process their reservations. Although they charge a $7.50 processing fee, I "booked" it online because I wanted to avoid in-person contact. It's not actually an online reservation system. Roverpass is supposed to forward the request to the campground who will then charge the credit card and confirm the reservation. I called 2 hours later and was informed by Crystal that she did not receive an email from roverpass and frequently does not. I explained that I wanted a contactless check-in because of the pandemic. Crystal said she had to have a signature on paper because I needed to acknowledge and agree to the rules. I told her I did that online. She said she doesn't get most of that stuff from roverpass and that a signature was non-negotiable. She did agree to bring the form outside for me to sign. I might have expected this in the early stages of the pandemic, but a year and a half in, this is the first time I have ever encountered such a pandemic unfriendly park.
The park itself is older and run down. We approached from the east on 4 miles of an old frontage road which was in bad shape. While the park was adequate for a overnight, it certainly is not five stars. To their credit, they did give me a 10% discount for being a veteran. In light of Crystal's complete lack of concern for the pandemic, I will not stay here again.

Getting back on I-40 East was a little interesting. Drove about 3 miles on old Route 66 through town, part of the road was a little rough. Lots of motels and cafes with Route 66 theme.

This is a sweet little park! The views of the countryside are stunning. We had rigs on each side of us but there was plenty of space between that you didn’t feel claustrophobic, plus each site is really long. They also have a picnic table for each site. The laundry room consisted of 4 washing machines (one was out of order) and two HUGE dryers (again one was out of order.) but we were able to put our three loads of clothes into the one dryer (note: dryers are old AND loud, but worked surprisingly well!). Washing machines were $2 and dryers were .25 per 15 minutes (took 1.25 or 60 mins to dry my clothes.) They have three chairs to sit if you want to wait and two tables to fold your clothes. They also have a change machine as the machines take quarters only. They have showers but we did not use them so I can’t comment on them. The couple in the office were super nice and he even led us to our site. Their store has all the necessities, but as you would expect at an RV park they are more expensive than a grocery store. This park has a dog run, chicken coop plus a rooster and in another area there is a donkey and two goats. Kids would love to see them, heck, I loved watching them! We drove into Shamrock to get ice (our fridge is having problems) & dinner (which was tasty) and to see a historical site.
Overall a very good experience!
We have a 36 ft Heartland Bighorn Traveler.

WiFi was better than most places we have been to. Speedtest rated it at 30mb up and 28 down.

Like all route 66 RV parks, there is a bit road noise from I-40 but it is easily overcome by a running fan at night. There are also animals for the kids to see. The owners are absolutely wonderful people too. Overall we love it here and will always make this a go to place when we are traveling the mother road.

We got to the campground late at night, office is open until 10pm. We were able to pick from any of 5 spots (looks like there are 13 full hookup sites). We picked the spot closest to the bathrooms and dog park. At the moment there is just one shower and toilet for the campground but looks like they are working on more and it wasn't busy enough so didn't bother us. You have to drive about 2 miles on a service road along the highway to get there but the road is just fine and campground is easy to find. There is a chicken coop next to the dog park and a couple underground storm shelters on the property. Hookups worked well, not many campers and owners were very nice to let us check out a little later. Not much to do in the area but the Mesquite Canyon Steakhouse is about 8 min away and we enjoyed the food there. Campground is right next to the highway so could hear the traffic but didn't bother us. Great place to stop on a road trip.
