This is a pretty cool campground perched right on the shore of the Snake River. Most of the sites are a part of the large parking area at the boat dock but there are a few sites that are located on the jetty. The park is frequented by an assortment of birds and there are signs displaying the historical significance of the area to the Louise and Clark exploration of the Louisiana Purchase. The park has picnic tables and toilets but no other amenities.
There is no useable cell service in the immediate area for Verizon or T-mobile.

We liked this place and we would love to stay longer only if there was some usable cell service since we need internet for our work. The access road to this place is paved. The lot itself is gravel and it's huge so there's space for many rigs. We chose to park on the small peninsula. It was nice to listen to the waves before falling asleep.
There is a railroad on the other bank of the Snake river and huge cargo trains go there from time to time. One of them woke us up in the middle of night. Before we felt asleep again we heard some howling and some animal trying to catch fish right by our camper. We weren't able to see what it was. :)
It was awesome waking up to a view of Snake river and its canyon.

This place would be perfect if there weren’t so many fishermen and boats hanging around. Overall a beautiful view from campsites. All right on the river. I would come back when fishing season is over. No T Mobile.

Fire pits, tables, vault toilets, and boat access all courtesy of the Army Corp of Engineers. (Big thank you to AoCE). Lovely and quiet as we were one of 2 campers there. We did meet the local sheriff who said they do regular rounds at the site and that it does get busy in summer. Good cell connection and a beautiful drive in and out.

There are only about 5 RV sites, some tent sites, and its right on the water. There is a boat ramp and a nice sheltered boat dock. It’s about 6 miles off the highway on a nice paved road. It’s very quiet at night and we would gladly stay again.

Small park with boat launch, mooring docks, vault toilets and a handful of RV and tent sites. Sites vary in quality, but the real gem here is the camp spot at the end of the little jetty road that has water on 3 sides, a covered picnic table, and lots of privacy. The somewhat tight turn in to this little spot would probably prevent large rigs from reaching it, but I imagine a moderate sized rig could get in just fine.
Note: my 5 star here rating reflects only the site I stayed in. Other sites in the park are nice, but not quite so amazing. Would recommend checking out Little Goose Landing a few miles up the road, or the spot just below the dam at (46.579396,-118.043756) if this isn't available.
