Very accommodating of big rigs, just watch out for a little dip in the driveway out to State Highway 17, almost scraped our bumper! Since we were all by ourselves in the middle of a Texas ice storm, we ran the generator all night and put out the slides with no issues.

Stayed here one night on long road trip. Handy. Even found a shady parking spot. 3 covered picnic tables and trash cans. Nobody else here. Lot of litter about; I picked up 3 garbage bags full.

Relatively quiet pull off. Close to I-10 but noise was minimal. If you are self contained it’s an easy stop over (no bathrooms but there are trash cans.). Nice view of the sunset.

We stayed at this lovely little picnic area over night. It was a hot day so we enjoyed the breeze and the birds chirping away happily. Overnighted 3-4-2018. Quieter then expected so close to a highway. Only rig there.

Great cell (AT&T) and Data signal (T-Mobile), no TV over Antenna which was not a big deal. Trucks use 17 to Pecos but after about 9 p.m. it calmed down and was a peaceful rest until morning when traffic picked back up again. They do need to empty the trash barrels as several of the most used ones were full. We'd stay here again when along this route, it's very easy access from both directions on I-10.
