“Nice views, best for medium size or smaller RVs”

We stayed here for a few weeks and enjoyed the views from the campground. The campground was nicely kept and conveniently located between Gaspé and Percé. Additionally, the woman managing the office was very nice and helpful. However, I would not call this campground big rig friendly. Their largest site (45’+) fit us, but it required us to back down a pitched gravel road for entry and exit. Due to the angle of the road, gravel surface and our heavier weight, the RV slipped/slid on the gravel road, when backing into and exiting site #11. That was not a comfortable experience. Most people stay at this campground for one or two nights, so we witnessed many RVers struggling to get up and down the pitched gravel road that looped around the terraced water view sites (sites #11-18) – those that appeared to have the easiest time had lighter weight RVs. They do offer some non-water-view 40’ long sites that would offer easier site entry/exit, since they are off a non-pitched road. We found the campground free wifi was typically better than our Verizon coverage, but both were intermittent. If we had a smaller RV, we would choose to stay here again.

“SMALLER C/G WITH GREAT OCEAN VIEWS JUST OFF HIGHWAY. PERFECT PLACE FOR A DESTINATION OR STOPOVER. A SHORT DRIVE TO GASPE’ TO THE NORTH AND PERCE’ TO THE SOUTH.”

Small privately owned c/g with well spaced sites that can handle tents or Class “A” RVs. Most sites offer some view of the ocean. Some sites can be exciting to get into, but worth the effort.
The tent sites on the bluff are outstanding! Most of the larger sites are very nice with ocean overlooks. A nice touch for these are the table/fireplace decks built into the side of the hill alongside the campsite. Most tent sites have cooking windscreens in place.
The views are spectacular, small rocky beach spotted with agates and jasper. Local “Indian head” icon weathered into a rock face just offshore from beach is a thrill for kids. A small playground is there too.
WiFi is best with a visit to office or bath house, but good connectivity .
Road entrance in or out is steep and enters right on the highway. There is some road noise, but not a deal breaker. Be careful!
Tomp would stay here again
