Trees need trimming, as we left a tree branch scraped our roof and knocked over our small stubby antenna. It would have messed up a rubber roof, but we have a fiberglass spray roof, so no problems. We arrived and looked at site 19. Large tree, not long enough (they said 38ft), and approach was very steep. Office personnel was very helpful, changes our site to 12 which I think was the only level straight site in the whole campground. But, it was backed up to the road and we had continuous road noise the whole stay. The new bathrooms in the older section had a man living in it for some days. When you tried to go in, he heard the door handle and opened up and asked do you need to go to the bathroom? I think a little bit more monitoring or a door keypad would be needed. Other bathrooms on other loops were worn, rusted and not very clean. Your best bet is to go to the Sequoyah State Park just over the bridge and get FHU with concrete pull thru's and nice level sites.

Asphalt pads are falling apart, some sites would be difficult to use. Fire rings rusted and bent. Grass hasn't been mowed in a while. Remains of dead fish seen at waters edge, which is overgrown with brush. Had water and 30 Amp electricity. With my old man lifetime pass the site was only $9. Campground is next to a highway so there is some road noise.

A one night stop this visit after a week here in October 2021. Nice Campgrounds; the two host couples do a great job of maintaining the grounds and facilities. Will surely return if we come through the area again.

Dump station is on a slope that won't allow your tanks to drain. Even with my right side jacks fully extended, my tanks wouldn't drain. No passes or tags needed, just check-in at entry station. Mild highway noise from the Rt 51 bridge if your site is on the lake. Old area is closer to the bridge and therefore nosier. Close to Sequoyah State Park. New bathroom with showers in the old section. Not hard to find, turn at Morgan Corner store and follow signs. Its best to know where your site is because there were no site maps or signs once you enter the park.
Pros: Lots of restaurants and food in Wagoner (8 miles). 50A electric worked well. Nice, new bathroom/shower in old section.
Cons: Older park, facilities and campsites are dated. Water pressure was variable, we had to use our on-board tank/pump. No usable dump station.
AT&T cell service was excellent, all bars of 5G.

We used our National Parks Senior Lifetime pass and paid half price for electric/water site, because this is a Corp of Engineers park. We had reserved a much larger site, but it had quite an abrupt hill in the drive and we seriously dragged bottom on our kayak/bike rack & we simply couldn't access the site. The entrance booth was staffed by the most helpful couple. The man put my husband into a golf cart with him and they drove through looking at the sites that were not yet reserved. We ended up in 98 which was very tight because of trees on either side of the pad. But, we were able to put our 3 slides out...just not our canopy. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The campground is very pretty and the lake is beautiful. It can be viewed by every site. Although we camped on Thursday, Friday & Saturday there were several empty sites. Truly a beautiful place to spend some time. There is a nice boat ramp right within the campground.
