This is such a gem of a campground in the Wenatchee National Forest. However the road to get there….6 miles of deep pothole hell. Beware! But the creek and shade make up for it. You do need to cross the creek to get into the campground. Only a few of the sites are suitable for a trailer. (Ours is 26 feet). Not the quietest campground. This is clearly a spot for motorcycle and RTV enthusiasts.

We're traveling in a 45' Class A with a toad for a total of 67'. There is a small bridge that was covered by a few inches of the stream when we arrived (in August.) We just fit into this campground (site 7). Actually it took a while to get back out at the end of the stay, but only a couple scratches on the coach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Camp host Rich was pleasant and the camper neighbors were good company at the fire pit each night. Clean toilets, but the trash was piled pretty high on Tuesday morning when we left. Don't miss the "Wild Horse Renewable Energy Center" tour when you are there. There is absolutely no cell service here because it's nestled deep in a canyon.
