“ BIG concrete Pads! ”

This park is huge! We stayed in The Oaks area which I would say is the nicest out of all three sections. They have 3 pools for each section. I was amazed of how much concrete pad you get, we fit our 36ft trailer and 2 vehicles on the pad. We would definitely come back here

Nice concrete, level pad. Section E was mostly other RVs while other parts of the park are mobile homes. They have regular events like bingo and such. The pool was nice. We didn’t check out the other amenities. There is a processing plant on several sides of the park that could be noisy for some guests. It didn’t bother us though.

We stayed here for one night after picking up our airstream at airstream of Tampa next-door. Couldn’t have been more convenient.
My wife actually physically checked in the day before so we had no problems upon arrival. We have a good map and the road system as Walmart.
We were in the new section of the park in a pull through site. Very attractive to us since this is the first time we’ve towed anything.
Was also close to a high school where we went to do some practice backing up and backing in.
The site had good Wi-Fi and strong cell. At least for Verizon.
The site had full hook ups.
The site had a new concrete pad which was pretty level.
There were some nice trees around which gave us a little shade.
The park was really clean and the pool area looks nice.
We had a picnic table but no fire rang. No problem for us since we weren’t going to light a fire anyways.
Definitely room for two vehicles along with our 25 foot airstream.
Although the camp is quite close to I 4, we did not hear any road noise. In fact the park was very quiet overall.
Next to the temporary sites, it’s a pretty big built out campground of much more permanent sites. Nice place to walk around.
If you are traveling through Tampa and need a place to stay, this place is pretty good.

This was a last minute stop and they were very accommodating with a same-day reservation. We stayed in the section called the Palms (entrance on McIntosh Road). Well over half of this section is seasonal/permanent units. A few park models/tiny homes, but largely RVs. The long-term sites have concrete pads and are well laid out. The park does a great job making sure all of the sites are clean. You will not see any disabled vehicles or trash/junk laying around in this area. We stayed in the portion that seems to be kept for transient visitors. These spots are grass/sand and reasonably level. The sites are also huge. About 30 feet wide and maybe 50 feet deep. There are a number of big live oaks spread around so you are likely to get some shade at some point during the day.
The pool is quite nice and kept warm in the winter. There are a few other amenities such as shuffleboard and petanque though these are pretty small and I imagine might get crowded during peak periods.

This is a corporate owned property. I start with that because it contributes to the good and not quite good. We arrived for our 3 month winter stay on January 1, as the office was closing early afternoon. As they were coming out the door the staff located our check-in packet in the outside bin, and realized we had ben assigned to an occupied spot. However they went back inside and gave us a premium site, which we were in our entire stay. Their definition of premium is a back in site, full hook ups all grass with a picnic table. It was a good sized site w a shade tree that dropped "nuts" for about two weeks and leaves the rest of the time. There was room to stow our tow dolly, put up our pop up shed, park two vehicles and a golf cart. Also, one can wash your RV or car on site without restriction or cost. Ground fires are not permitted due to county ordinance, but we have a fire pit on legs. Trash is self service, due to full capacity of campground the dumpsters would be slightly overflowing on Sunday eves. Most sites are lined up straight to paved inner roadways, but a few are in odd locations. If you are going to stay a while ask about it, however the reservation system is not the best. We were not the only ones who had an upon arrival change. For us the wifi worked mostly OK, others said it didn't. The park was kept clean, with grounds keeping about once a month, so no regular machine noise other than fellow campers leaf blowers. The bathhouses and laundry facilities varied from new, to older but clean. We did have to mention a few times about the dryer lint not being cleaned out.
There are 3 pools and a hot tub, open till 9 pm, several activity centers and a good number of special "events". We really enjoyed the Neil Diamond tribute singer, reasonable ticket charge.
The prior review from Feb of 2015, is still relatively accurate. There is a new manager, and some rows have cement sites available for a two year lease. The general area is suburban / farming but Wal mart etc, within 15 minutes, a few convenience stores very close. This is an all ages park, but our winter stay was mostly sno birds like ourselves.
The road noise from very nearby I 4 was not terrible, but it could be heard more at certain times. Our rate was based on a monthly/ seasonal stay. The nightly winter rate was $60, per folks we met who had shorter stays.
IMO, Bill would stay here again

We stayed here for free for 2 nights as our first trip in our new 5th Wheel in September 2013. We practically had the place to ourselves! The staff and ground crew were amazing and helped made our maiden voyage exceptional. We didn't know what we were doing! We loved the location, down the road from Camping World (where we bought our RV) so we went back for more supplies, but we found a great park to spend the day in nature, Lettuce Lake Park.
We returned in January 2015 so we could attend the Florida RV Super Show. It was 8 miles away. Now we got to see how the park is in peak season and we were less than impressed.
What we liked: There was free wifi; the laundry room we were near was spacious and enough washers and dryers with a full campground; lots of great walking areas; we made new friends!
What we didn't like: There are three "villages" so to speak. No one guided us to this "off site" and it was confusing trying to find our site. Once we found it, we couldn't get into it. All the neighbors came out and tried to help, but none of them spoke English. We thought we were in the Village of Quebec! We had to call and ask for another site. They asked if someone was there helping us from the campground. NO! It's never fun to start off this way.
As it turned out, this was a better place to park. Where we were before, near the main entrance, it is very MUDDY! So use caution with you site.
