Tamiami Village 55+ RV Park

We were very happy with our month at Tamiami Village. We visited the pool regularly, walked and rode our bikes around the park and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. There is an extensive activities schedule, but we didn't participate in any of these. We did volunteer for the Trash and Treasure Sale and did enjoy the camaraderie of the other guests. We had a full hook-up site. The site only had 50 amp, but we were able to borrow a 50-30 amp pigtail from the office. We did use our Good Sam discount for 10% off the $31.50/nt. We found the other guests to be very friendly. We used the showers daily and the laundry regularly and the facilities are immaculate and well maintained. The RV park area is grass sites, with concrete slab patio. The staff were so helpful in directing us in backing into the site. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning.

Found this place a few years ago after driving through a number of sketchy others along 41 and decided this is one of the best private RV spots in the region. Good internet coverage, great pool and attentive staff and little noise. A keeper.
