Traffic noise until about 9, then it quieted down. Lots of room to open our slides. Any length can fit. We were the first to arrive at 4:30 and a few others joined us after sundown. This is a great stop for the night.

Just an FYI, the welcome center is being rebuilt so there is no longer a dump station there. Currently there are some gas pumps, some port o potties and outdoor hand washing stations. There’s a sign that states the welcome center won’t be completely until late 2024.

The RV parking is mostly level and free. I hear some slight noise from the idling trucks nearby but that doesn't bother us. We'll turn on some white noise at bedtime and it will disappear.
The Tamarack is a unique place to visit with lots of arts, crafts, books, blankets, etc. all made by WV folks.

As of March 8th the travel plaza is closed however, the Exxon is open and there are bathrooms available. This is going on my top 10 list of free overnights. The parking area is clean and there’s a place to walk your pet. A visit to the Tamarac Cultural Center is a must and there’s food and bathrooms inside the center too.

It was dark when I arrived and struggle a bit to find the RV parking. Turns out I simply had not driven far enough in the parking lot. There were 5 or 6 RVs already parked with plenty of room left for more. I slept soundly as the road noise was not excessive.

I got to the plaza and it’s right of Hwy 64 which I had been on. No idea why it took me through all the backroads.
Plenty of RV parking and it appears you can park in the car parking as well if RV is full. The car parking area is a lot more level.
Lots of grass for dogs. You can hear the highway and the trucks in the travel plaza but it’s not bad.
Couple next to me say they been there about a week. There is no sign with time limits and no one has confronted them.
