It is close to everything.
Our site was level and big. We really liked it for the first half hour. THEN, the people started coming!!!!! There was a non-stop entourage of people right through our site cutting through to a path below the hill behind our trailer. It is actually a small wash which looks like a path and is filled with large rocks. Not an easy path to climb down or up. We never did. We went around like you're supposed to. The way to the path takes within arm's reach of our picnic table and people were stopping to see what we made for dinner. Some were sneaking peeks into our camper. Just rude!!!! The park needs to put up a sign or something to keep people out. This really ruined our stay.
Other than that, there was a nice, paved bike path. It starts at the Marina and ends at the Damn.
Lots to see and do in the area.
I would stay again...... BUT...... not this site and I heard someone else say they had the same problem. So be choosy about your site.
Poor internet. Was able to use my hotspot on a very rare occasion.

Very nice campground with showers and laundry on site. Quiet and peaceful the staff was super friendly. Our only complaint is site #179 is very unlevel after an hour of trying to level the trailer my husband had to put blocks under the right side tires of our 5th wheel.

Full hookups were great to have. Sites were very close together, and ours backed to the main road for the park, which was a little noisy. The lakeshore trail was right off the campground and provided a fantastic bike trail and walking path between the marina and COE visitors center. The COE visitors center was great for the kids because they had a junior ranger program where the kids were given activity books to fill out and were then sworn in as junior rangers (much like in the national parks).

We had reserved site 180; however, due to some trees, we got good and wedged in while trying to back into the spot. One on the driver side of the truck and one on each side of the spot made it too tight to push our camper back in since we couldn’t Jack-knife it without damaging the anti-sway/weight distribution hitch (ProPride). Fortunately, with my wife on the verge of tears, a terrific state park maintenance employee came to our rescue and helped guide me out and got us a different spot. As a note, on the day we were leaving, he mentioned they would be cutting down the trees at the entrance to site 180, which would have been a beautiful spot…if we could have gotten in.
Now for the review. The park is beautiful and everyone we met was super friendly. The loop we stayed in within Campground 1, had lots of trees/shade, nice space between sites, multiple potable water fill spigots, a laundry with two clean washers and dryers as well as a deep sink, pretty clean showers and restrooms, and multiple paths to the adjoining waterfront walking/biking trail.
The park has a large boat launch and marina, complete with snack bar and ship’s store. There are some very nice hiking/biking trails within the park that can be short (around a mile) or joined by connectors to get around 12 miles. Roads are a bit steep and curvy either way you approach the park, but was not an issue. Proximity to Branson is very good and we would absolutely return for a longer stay if we’re back in the area.

Hard to review this one- I think my experience was time of year (mid March)- trying to be objective. I’d stay here again, but in campground 1.
Cell service:
Verizon 1 bar, 11.7 down, 0.03 up. Sketched out.
ATT 71.0 down 5.5 up, reliable
Has 2 campgrounds.
#1 is more wooded (shade) more what you’d expect for a state park. Located near a lot of trails. More open space to walk around.
#2 is almost entirely full sun, feels more like an RV park. Only trail is the one between the two campsites (and was closed due to repairs during my stay). It’s close to the Marina which looks like it has a nice cafe (also closed during my stay). So if you’re in campground 2, the only place to walk around is road walking the campground and marina parking lot.
Basic (B)= no hookups (dry camping)
Electric (E)= electric only (no water)
FHU (S) = 50/30/20, water, sewer
They do not have water and electric sites. The water is mostly not reachable from the road with a hose- you must fill up from the dump station.
The water was on when I arrived but they shut it off during my stay in a FHU spot due to weather. They were so good about communication- came by and knocked, left a note for those they couldn’t reach, and signs up everywhere. Camp hosts are really friendly.
I don’t normally comment on the people side as that will vary by stay. But this does seem to be more of a party park. Many campers with loud music- bumping out of speakers in their trunks, or their outdoor speakers in campers. Loose dogs that attacked my dog. And camp hosts wandering about and didn’t seem to care. Cool if that’s your thing- It’s not my vibe. I was hoping for quiet and peaceful which is why I didn’t stay in town.
Didn’t use facilities so can’t comment but they do have laundry. And many comfort stations.
Note on check in- put “table rock state park office” in your gps. Not the state park or you’ll have a hard time finding it.
I’d stay again but in campground #1.

This state park was impeccable! The bathrooms were cleaned daily. The hosts were so kind! The location was AMAZING! The state park is only 10 minutes from Silver Dollar City and only 15 minutes from the Branson Landing, all while maintaining the peace and tranquility of the STUNNING Table Rock Lake!

Overall my stay was good, electric only, with dumpsite and water access. I wanted to visit friends in the area and was able to reserve the last electric site a couple days before going. It’s a busy place, but most other campers were considerate. Signage isn’t great if you don’t go through the main state park entrance (my gps took me through a back entrance). The roads are a bit narrow in some areas which makes backing in and maneuvering a bit difficult; I had to use my neighbors grass across from me for more room. They now have laundry ($2 wash/$1.50 dry) which is very clean, bathrooms and showers are also clean, but the shower drains sometimes get backed up. Cell signal was good. Great location and close to a lot of things like Top of the Rock. Hollister is a cute little town that isn’t touristy like Branson. (Visit 7 Arrows Taproom and Turkey Creek Brewery if you like craft beer.)

Had to change plans and was able to secure a 50amp site for a week starting a few hours before we called. Electric only site but our hoses reached the water so we could fill our tank. Clean bathrooms/showers/laundry areas. Paved lake side walking trail right behind our site. Campground was busy but quiet during our stay.
