We enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Grove. We had spot 18 with hook ups and had to park our truck in another empty spot ours didn’t have enough room. The Camp host was very friendly and allowed us to check out late. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the trails and river. The rest of the camp site were very tidy and well kept. We had a great stay at Sycamore Grive Campsite. The surrounding were beautiful and I would highly recommend walking the trails. The camp host was very friendly and allowed us to check out late. The sites were clean and the other campers were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!!

“Great value stop with power”

Reviewed Jun 19, 2017

Overall Rating

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay that still had power and this place fit the bill. The website says 44ft is the max length. We are closer to 50 with our motorcycle on the lift at the back and about 62 with our tow car and we fit in a pull through without any issues. Some of the back in sites have trees at the end of the... more

“First attacked by bugs bad on our site broken into no locked gate”

Reviewed May 29, 2017

Overall Rating

The bugs were particularly bad due to overgrowth from the adjacent field. Off citronella candles nothing helped. No locked gate so people come and go late at night. we got broken into our car and ripped off poor area of town. Ok for RVs that r locked ;)

“Open all year”

Reviewed Jan 26, 2017

Overall Rating

Though the forest service website says this campground is not open all year, it actually IS OPEN. we camped in site 24 which was perfectly level for us. Nice trees and water and electric as an added bonus. Our rate reflects the parks service senior pass, and at that rate this is a great place. Only down side was no usable ATT in booste... more

“Overnighter near the freeway”

Reviewed Jan 21, 2017

Overall Rating

A little rough around the edges and nearly completely empty when we stopped here in early November. Access to and from the freeway was easy though, and it was cheap.

Downtown Red Bluff is cute, and we stopped and had breakfast at the Tremont Cafe on our way out of town.

“Nice, Open, Hot”

Reviewed Jul 01, 2016

Overall Rating

So we weren't planning on staying in Red Bluff but got bored with travel for the day so stopped off here just for the night. I think that I want to say the car said it was 108 during the afternoon, which was pretty scorching...I would probably like the site more in cooler weather. That being said, we were able to find a site for on... more

For an overnight stay, it was quiet and not too far off the highway. Would definitely stay here again. Took a non-utility site.
