Overall Rating
Absolutely beautiful place to camp! Little tricky to find, uses this app and found with no problems. Only a few sites were big enough for the F250 and our 30 foot camper but we found an amazing site! There are 3 other campgrounds like this on 55 within 4 or 5 miles, definitely some hidden gems! We will be back!

Overall Rating
Right on the busy highway so quite noisy. Small, close sites with little privacy. Would have given it 1 star but gave it 2 because vault toilet was very clean. One bit of excitement. We woke up to a huge bear poop 20 yards from our RV.

This campsite is the first of a string of national forest sites located within about 6-10 miles of each other. They are all located right along the highway. The river drowned some of the noise but we are well insulated and I imagine in a tent it would be very loud. We were here mid July and no one else was there except the camp host. T... more
This campsite is the first of a string of national forest sites located within about 6-10 miles of each other. They are all located right along the highway. The river drowned some of the noise but we are well insulated and I imagine in a tent it would be very loud. We were here mid July and no one else was there except the camp host. The bathrooms were clean. Firewood for sale. No trails directly from the campground. Great for an overnight if you need a place to sleep or you raft the river during the day.
