Swift Falls County Park

We enjoyed being one of three campers here on a Thursday night. Site 6B is the northernmost site on the hill beyond the restrooms. We were a quick walk to the playground which our kiddos enjoyed for hours. The playground structures are newer and well maintained. Kids enjoyed the sand because our hometown uses mulch at our playgrounds.
Campground noise was limited Thursday with some people using the area during the day. Friday found a full campground. More noise with louder trucks coming and going. We were pleasantly surprised the restrooms each had one shower. For the low price, we were happy with our electrical and the amenities. We tend to boondock so a flush toilet outside our camper is cushy for us.
We would stay here again because of convenience to friends in the area.

Idyllic little park with a branch of the Chippewa River running through it!
There is no dump station here. You have to drive about 20 miles to a nearby county park to dump.
Special note to tent campers, there are two small sites on separate islands to camp on. Foot bridges allow access to the islands!
They allow four wheelers here which create a bit of noise. There are no trails in the park so the noise is just the vehicles coming and going.
