Overall Rating
There are four sites at Swanson River Campground, all fairly level and able to handle beast sized rigs. There wasn't anyone else there when we were there but there were a few vehicles that drove through. The campground is located about 100 yards from Swanson River Landing, the mid point on the Swanson River canoe trail, and attracts an occasional canoeist checking out the possibilities. It's a very basic gravel drive with gravel parking pads and a cast concrete Forest Service style toilet. Of course, there wasn't a glimmer of hope for cell connectivity.
