Not accessible unless you want to ford Sutton Creek, walk through brush and climb over dunes ! The road that forks off of 101 and takes you to the Sutton CG entrance continues on about another mile past the entrance and dead ends at a viewpoint where the ocean is not even visible. Best access is Haceta Beach Road off of Hwy. 101. It is about 1 1/2 miles south of the campground on 101.

There isn’t any beach access to the campground. There is a view point about a mile away you can drive or walk to. Also that beach is closed at times for Plover breeding protection.

We hike the trail from the campground to the beach lookout point and saw no access to the beach. From the viewpoint tower you could see the beach across the dunes, but I didn't see any access.

The beach was not easily accessible from the campground. We drove to the Oregon Dunes a few miles south of Florence for easy access to the beach.
