Susitna Landing

This public campground is right on the river. Sites 3-9 are the best and look out on the river, steps away. Spots are spaced well with grass between them. Campsites are gravel. There are a few spots with power, but the good ones have no services. When we were there in late June the Salmon run had not reached this place. Caught a jack salmon and released it. Has two bathrooms and two showers. The drain was a little dirty but shower overall was clean and worked. 7 minutes for $5 token. Eric, the manager is very friendly and helpful. Small store, but bring what you need. This place will be crowded during the salmon run on weekends. Excellent Verizon service.
