Some of the spots may be the wrong side for some RVs. Not a huge deal but something to be mindful of. Was able to intermittently get 1 bar on ATT but mostly had no cell signal. Could maybe get a little StarLink with some spots, but it may come with some latency.

This reservation only BLM campground has pristinely clean hot showers, potable water, flush toilets, large campsites with grills, tables and fire pits (non electric and no dump station). We truly were impressed with it and our fantastic hosts! A 10 out of 10 for us!!
The river runs behind the campground and there are trails from it around the area and to Susan Creek Falls.
Our 48’ total TT and Truck fit easily in the HUGE site (18) with room to spare. We are not a tall rig so not sure about taller ones…we just wish we’d booked more than one night!

Our truck is long & our trailer is les than 22' - seems several of the sites would be tight (although we saw a couple of large RVs). Definitely check the sites lengths. Great place to base from to go see some of the beautiful waterfalls along this highway. Including a video on the campground - click the video link https://youtu.be/Bp58EJFJzp0

Reservations are currently only online and we were able to find a spot long enough. Site 18 is one of the easiest to get into with a long rig. Campsite was beautiful and one of the nicest BLM parks we have ever stayed in. Beautiful bathrooms with free clean showers. Sites are nicely separated and nice trails to walk along the river.

We stayed in site 23 and loved it as it had a trail down to the river. Neighboring sites 22,24,25 were equally as nice.
Another bonus for us were the ample, well groomed trails for walking our dogs. You can access the day use area, Tioga Bridge, and Susan Creek Falls from the campground. We did come across two trails that were closed as a result of the fire damage, but there were plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs.
While the surrounding area took a fairly big hit from the fire in 2020 (including the falls area), the campground was relative unscathed.
Road noise was minimally evident during the day, but almost non existent at night.
Our only con was the fact that a few somewhat sketchy individuals cruised through the campground repeatedly during the day.

Picnic tables, fire rings at each site. Firewood available for purchase. Water available. Bathhouse with shower available. Heavily shaded (which made our solar recharge a challenge but fine for one night). At 38’, we barely fit in our site (our site fit up to a 40’ so accurately sized on Recreation.gov) so bigger rigs need to be careful. No Verizon or TMobile service. Near trails, river and right off 138. Just a beautiful place and would stay here again.

this one is a gem... small, well organized, clean campground with spacious sites and full hookups. The site includes trails along the Umpquah and an amphitheater. The roaring river and peaceful forest make this site a great get away.

We arrived just after dark when we had no idea where we would land for the night and were pleasantly surprised. Level, paved sites that are very spacious. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and bbq. Privacy is due to many mature trees throughout. Exceptionally clean bathrooms with flush toilets, soap and hand sanitizer. Didn’t check out the showers but I would assume they are in the same condition. Firewood available for a reasonable $6 per bundle. Our site (13) didn’t have hookups and maybe I did not see that others did (another reviewer mentioned them) but at $20 ($10 with senior lifetime pass), this place is a good deal. Pretty much non-existent cell service. We fell asleep to the sounds of the rushing North Umpqua River. Small amphitheater and horseshoe pits, along with several trails. Very quiet on a Tuesday the week before Memorial Day but I imagine it would be very different at the height of the summer with rafting and fishing.
