Very Pretty drive in and nice campsites. Felt safe, but we only stayed one night as we needed internet for work and there was no cell service (even with a weboost) and our starlink couldn't connect out there for some reason (even with a clear view of the sky). Very Pretty drive in and nice campsites. Felt safe, but we only stayed one night as we needed internet for work and there was no cell service (even with a weboost) and our starlink couldn't connect out there for some reason (even with a clear view of the sky). Our 19' skoolie was able to make it into the campground and the roads were not bad just a little debris we had to slow down and avoid (rocks and branches) but all paved.

Showed up where there’s three sites. All taken up by people living there full time. Pulled off the side of the road near there to sleep only to be terrorized by tons of gunshots or fireworks I couldn’t tell. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

A bit of a drive off the highway, but it’s paved all the way. 😊
Quiet.
Clean bathrooms.
Creek nearby.
Lots of trees for shade.
Picnic tables.
Flat.

We rolled in right at sunset hoping for a nice place to car camp for the night. We got there and immediately saw where people have obviously been set up there for a while.... the amount of junk they collected and spread around their site looked like they have been there months at least. They had rusted out cars and an RV without a roof... more
We rolled in right at sunset hoping for a nice place to car camp for the night. We got there and immediately saw where people have obviously been set up there for a while.... the amount of junk they collected and spread around their site looked like they have been there months at least. They had rusted out cars and an RV without a roof but was covered in tarps. And random junk covering the ground around them. They had a dog that was very skinny and barked the entire time we were there, probably starving! Makes you wonder why they’re out there instead of in the near by city.... sketchy. We left without staying a night. Nice drive in though.

Vault toilet / no water / no bathroom sink / no shower / table / fire pit / middle-easy access / high shade. The campground is along the Elk River, which is a really beautiful place! The campground is ok: toilets are not really clean, and it's plenty of mosquitos, but sites are well maintened, and one in paticular seems to go straig... more

The campground is along the Elk River, which is a really beautiful place! The campground is ok: toilets are not really clean, and it's plenty of mosquitos, but sites are well maintened, and one in paticular seems to go straight out from Alice in the wonderland. The interest is on the river: you can swim on a natural swimming pool with truits. The water is really clean, not so cold, and there is a pebble beach. A perfect wild place!
Not so far from the campground, there is a lot place to visit : Cape Blanco, Port Orford and the Golden Coast.

Stayed here last night and loved it! I was worried about being able to find it but the coordinates on here lead you there perfectly. From Port Orford it is about 30 minutes east along a river, gorgeous drive! The camp sites are fairly private and spaced out. Pretty nasty toilet and no running water. Stayed here last night and loved it! I was worried about being able to find it but the coordinates on here lead you there perfectly. From Port Orford it is about 30 minutes east along a river, gorgeous drive! The camp sites are fairly private and spaced out. Pretty nasty toilet and no running water. It is absolutely gorgeous here though! We had a lot of mosquitos here when we stayed so we hung out in our tent mostly. There was only one other camper on a Monday night
