Sunseekers 55+ RV Park

We are a Thousand Trails member and pay for the add-on of Encore RV resorts. This Encore campground separates us members from monthly paying residents by placing us up front next to road and dumpsters.

These RV parking spots are so narrow, we could not open our awning, and the ground when it was raining is over ankle deep in muddy water.

We left early and went elsewhere, so our expensive equipment would not be setting in standing water.

I would not recommend Sunseekers RV Park to any Thousand Trails members and we will not stay here again

We are Thousand Trails members (hence the $0 cost), have lived full time in our RV for 3 years and have stayed at many Thousand Trails/Encore properties. This place is by far the dirtiest - there is trash everywhere. They are without a maintenance man at this time per the office, however it looks like no one has picked up all the little pieces of garbage around our site for months. The dumpsters are overflowing and when I asked the office why the response was "well we are on the schedule for a pick up today, I'm not sure where they are, I didn't want to bother them first thing this morning to ask". It was 3:10 pm...We only booked here because other TT/Encore parks were full in the area. On a positive - the recreation courts seem to be kept up; and we did have strong 50 AMP power; however the tiles around the pool are all coming up, and it just looks like the whole place is in a state of disrepair. We suggest you go somewhere else!

Remnants of an old trailer park converted into an RV park. The water was broken and had to have someone fix it. There was no picnic table we had to ask for one. No cable TV for the price and the Wi-Fi didn’t make it to our site. It didn’t even show up. The only positive I can say about it is that it was clean and they were responsive when I told them about the problems but never went into the restrooms or pool area.

The park signs indicate they are under new management and are upgrading. They are replacing 30 Amp with 50 and just replaced rec hall flooring. It seems that like many FL snowbird parks it is mainly trailers with approximately 20% spaces for RVs. You are at the tip of neighbors awning in the spaces we saw. Our 32’ class A just fit in length wise.
They may be updating which is a very good thing but the size of sites will remain unchanged. Too close for comfort for us. We’ll do more research next time.
