Owners are superrrrr friendly and seemed like genuine people that care about their campground and the community. We booked a spot online at arrival and they came over and offered us a better spot that was more level and closer to the restrooms, which was very much appreciated. The new bathrooms and showers were by far the BEST that we've had while traveling through South Dakota! Relaxed campground and very quiet with good views. Wish we could've stayed longer!

The owners have completely renovated everything from the bath house to the sites. Close to Wind Cave National Park and Custer State Park. An easy hour drive from Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument. The quant town of Hot Springs has two locations for bathing in the hot springs.

This clean and lovely updated campground offers full hookup sites as well as rustic and “glamping” cabin , primitive & electric tent sites. The bathrooms are awesome - clean and modern - and the owners/hosts are the most gracious you’ll ever meet. The location is excellent between Wind Cave National Park and downtown Hot Springs. You can bike safely to town, which also has wonderful biking/walking paths. This is our second stay and the only thing that’s changed is the trees have gotten taller & landscaping a little more fancy 😊

We needed to full charge batteries so picked this eclectic site. Elec was good. Old farm equipment collection, small to medium trees. No real shade. Very convenient to Wind Caves and local exploring. Moderate price. Just off Hwy but not too noisy.

If the last site (furthest north) is filled, looping out of the campground would be very difficult. Half of the sites are not level. There are no paved roads and little gravel. The bathrooms are quite old and one of two toilets was clogged. There are junk cars/trucks trailers in the campground. My $30 was for electric and water, no septic was available on site. $30 (+ tax is cash only) would be a decent price if the place wasn’t so run down. I never saw an attendant from when we arrived at 5:00 pm until we left at 9:30 when we left the next morning. No WiFi; no cable; no dump station; no attendant.
On the plus side, it’s a very scenic site, with pine trees and rolling hills and it’s a fantastic location to Hot Springs, SD. If the owners would clean the place up, do some repairs, haul off the junk and make some road enhancements, the place could be a premium site. Oh and ditch the racist name.

My husband & I purchased Kemo Sabay Campground September 2021. We have since renamed it to Sunrise Ridge Campground. We upgraded all of the water, sewer & electric. We have WIFI throughout the park, a dog park, communal fire pit and a brand new bathhouse with tiled showers & in floor heat. Enjoy the sunrise over Battle Mountain as you start planning your day adventures in the Black Hills!
