Overall Rating
I found this park here on Campendium and decided to give them a call to make a reservation. The owner was very surprised that I wanted to camp there and after camping there I can see why!
The good:
-Nice setting, surrounded by trees and close to stores and restaurants.
-Very lenient on the rules, they allowed my 4 dogs, brought my own fire pit, and they were not concerned about the number of cars.
-Caretakers were very nice and helpful
-Full hookups
-They have a pool, may be open for summer months?
The bad:
-Very messy, piles of trash and sheet metal everywhere
-Very residential, pretty much everybody lived there. We felt very out of place camping for the weekend.
-The caretakers didn't know we were coming, they were pretty confused when we drove up
-Our site had a strange awning, seemed unnecessary for what we were doing and got in the way
This place has potential, but its not great for weekend campers!
