Large dog park, nice heated pool, hot tub, clubhouse, beautiful laundry and bath facilities, Pickleball, shuffleboard and large sites with FHU. Live music or DJ every weekend. Fun events like Superbowl party and St. Patty’s day dog parade. Very friendly and responsive staff. We have met the nicest people and made lifelong friends. Close to villages, several bike trails, restaurants and many attractions.

It would be very hard to find a better RV resort anywhere. We are totally spoiled and plan on returning in the fall.

It’s a very nice, clean & comfortable park with great amenities. However, way too many restrictions. Closes at 5:00pm everyday on the button, not opened at all on Sunday’s for check in. They say they are dog friendly but their so called Dog Park, is basically pure dirt that turns to pure mud if it rains and is very small. The only way your dog can be outside is on a leash or tethered. I refuse to tether my dog. No play pens, expens or dog tents outside. When I questioned the dog restrictions, I was not treated very well by the manager. I’m sure people without dogs love it there. I won’t be back and they really didn’t care.

A friend came to visit for 3 days. Sunkissed
Manager would not let them in due age of
Motorhome. It is a 2003 Beaver
that he spent
$15000 to have repainted 2 years prior. Their
Policy is based on a date not quality of unit.
The sod placed in this campground is from a cow pasture. I Can’t walk without tripping.

" We are not for everyone" and "You can stay at Walmart for the night" These were the comments management told us Friday afternoon when they called and asked where we were. When we told them we work till 5:00 they told us basically sorry, we close at 5:00 and you cannot check in after that and you can check in Saturday morning after 9:00. They close the office at 5:00 every day and not open on Sundays.. We had made plans to stay here and nobody told us when we made reservations that you have to check in before 5 if you want access. Nowhere on their website was this noted. Lucky for us we had friends that got there in time and management reluctantly allowed them to check in for us.
The place is nice and very clean but like we were told "We are not for everyone" there are lots of campgrounds in the area where they do cater to the working families looking for somewhere to go for the weekend after they get off work Friday.

This is the nicest campground that we have stayed in the SE USA. The over size flagstone RV pads and full driveways are awesome. The staggered site layout contributes to site privacy. The three pickleball courts and the bocce court are welcome additions.

Motorcyclists BEWARE!!
We just went to make a reservation at this RV park and we were very disappointed. We have a 40-foot new motorhome and towing an enclosed trailer, new with motorcycles. We were told that we cannot have a trailer on the site, only the motorcycles. She told us that we needed to put the trailer in a storage lot. That's okay we have done that before. I told her to make sure she puts us near the lot because we have a lot of our belongings in the trailer that we need. Are you ready for this one??? She told me I had to call the storage place to find out how much they were going to charge me for my trailer???? I was shocked and told her I have never ever in all of our travels across country and down South heard of such a thing happening. Nobody does that. We were going to pay $900.00 for the month 10% tax and we had to pay for our electricity and pay to store a trailer for the entire month?? This place has only been open for 5 weeks and let me tell you as nice as it may sound or look is not very accommodating to the tourist's needs. It's really too bad because alot of the baby boomers are retiring and traveling South. I'm sure they will lose alot of their business. I have contacted Good Sam Club to let them know about this. I will also put this review on Trip Advisor and anywhere I can. I will say one thing being open only 5 weeks they have alot to learn what it takes to be successful. You don't alienate people who are towing trailers. Shame on you!
