This campground is in a beautiful setting in the Connecticut woods. Sites are cramed together and most if not all sites are permanent residents. This campground is in a beautiful setting in the Connecticut woods. Sites are cramed together and most if not all sites are permanent residents. There were several abandoned trailers around and many looked like they hadn't been moved or washed in years. The voltage on our 30a service dropped so low every time our AC came on that our EPS kept shutting the power off. Our stay was miserable to say the least. We loved the area but will never stay at this place again.

Nice campground, can be a little tight if full. Stayed Monday-Friday with water/elec/cable (30amp) with dump station. Quiet and dark at night, great place to chill and unwind. Tons of activities for kids.

*NOTE* We stayed here with our truck camper and not our fifth wheel. There were definitely fifth wheels here though, it just may have been a little tight. Overall, it was a great spot to stay for a few nights. We got a spot right by the creek and it felt pretty secluded, and plenty of trees around for natural privacy. In the summ... more

Overall, it was a great spot to stay for a few nights. We got a spot right by the creek and it felt pretty secluded, and plenty of trees around for natural privacy.
In the summer, the amenities would be great... pool, swimming at the lake/pond, paddle boats, playground etc.
Good enough service to work our full time jobs. Showers were nice too but did require quarters!
