This campground does not have measurements for their sites yet, but it will be coming. We reserved a pull-thru site (#9) and we were not able to drive into this site with our 18-foot trailer. We were lucky that another site near the entrance was available on a Thursday. There is no clear indication for FF sites so you just drive around and look for posts without a tag. There are several sites on the water front and those that are not along the water front may need to walk through your site or go to the boat trailer parking area. You cannot launch from this location but there is a nice boat launch about a mile up the road.

We stayed in June and the sequoia trees were in bloom so everything was coated with yellow pollen including the lake shore. The wind pushes the pollen across the lake and it accumulates along the shore most of the day.

Pop-up tent trailers and tents will work in most sites but trailers or larger RVs will not work. We highly advise you check it out before booking. We got lucky that the host let us move, but since it is becoming more popular, the chances are slim that moving sites will work.

Once you are there, the view of the lake is lovely with the water level a short distance from full capacity. The new hosts, Dorothy and her boyfriend are really nice and helpful. Laurel, who manages the day use and boat launch area was really nice too. She is the approving official when it comes to site management.

Our previous site that we had reserved (#9) was near a family with a barking dog which caused a bit of a stir, and a family in site 14 was sharing their music with the entire camp. After a couple hours of listening to their music, we asked them to turn it down and fortunately they were gracious enough to do so.

We will likely come back but will be much more prepared with site selection and inflatables.
