A lot of city noise, jets flying overhead and trains. Good location if you are visiting things in St Louis.

Basic concrete pad sites. HOWEVER - so much to recommend. Easy on/easy off I - 70. Just miles from the Frenchtown Historic District and the Lews and Clark Boat House and Museum. Friendly staff and sparkling clean facilities. It’s a great stopover in the St. Louis area.

Pulled in around 1 am Friday night, site information was posted on the office door, we easily found our site, unloaded our side by side from the toy hauler and parked it in order to utilize our beds in garage. Side by side was unloaded on pavement, and then we backed into our site and went to bed for the night. The next morning one of us was greeted by one of the staff members, Darlene. Darlene immediately told one of the members of our party that she was very mad that we made ruts in the front edge of our site with our side by side, my friend quickly apologized and explained that she did not think that was from us. Darlene also complained that our kayak was partially on the grass and that two tires of our side by side were on the grass. This was not in a friendly tone, she stated, “get the dam* kayak off the grass. Once again the member of our party apologized and said we’d get it moved right away, which we did, and again no grass was harmed by the side by side. When I went to the office to check in Darlene immediately asked if I got the “quad” moved, which I replied we did and apologized as we did not know that it was an issue, but I completely understood and gladly moved it when asked, she just could have been more polite and professional about it. She then stated that they would be charging us $25 for the ruts in the mud/grass from our side by side (I had looked at the ruts already and they were clearly from a vehicle), so I told her I was sorry but our side by side was never near that are and the tire treads do not match up to the marks on the ground. She continued to insist they did and finally said “well we’re still going to charge you $10 for parking it on the grass”, at this point I was over it and decided it’s not worth arguing about. We were very happy to move the side by side off the grass after she asked us to and no damage was done to the grass from parking on it, so in my opinion a $10 fine over something so small when we were very compliant is just petty but again, it was not worth arguing over. I would say if you are stopping for an overnight it would be ok but I would definitely not stay here especially if you have a side by side, she made it very clear side by sides are not welcome here(even just to offload temporarily, it was never driven around the park), it is my preference to take my business to those businesses who are welcoming and friendly, just like all campers should be.
Attached are the pictures of the ruts as well as our UTV Tires, just to show that it was indeed not from our side by side.

This park is about a mile and a half walk/bike down a rail trail or side walk to the adorable town of St.Charles where you will find an awesome Sourdough Bakery that is only open F, Sat, Sun called Mr. Meowskis. The town offers other delightful stops too - I was overwhelmed by my options for picking up a sugar laden treat!
The RV park is surprisingly quiet for its proximity to train tracks and a major highway. The train can be heard and the highway can be heard, but we found neither of these disturbing.
All pads are concrete, with well manicured grass between them. We did have some issues with the hired lawn service shooting grass/weeds onto our rig (there were several complaints from neighbors!) - but the results is nice. Each site has a picnic table. Sites are spaced enough so that you feel okay to sit out at your table, but not enough for any semblance of privacy.
This is a quiet park - lots of single nighters on longer hauls with a mix of long term rigs in good working order who appear to be in the area to work.
The park has a large, clean laundry room and quarters are available at the check-in desk.
There is a large playground at the park adjacent to the RV park, as well as groomed, wooded walking trails.
We were able to get a great view of the sky for Starlink connection, and Verizon provided 4 bars of 4G coverage.
We loved this park for its proximity to St. Charles, and an awesome and very long rail trail. The price was a bit more than we thought it should be - but we paid it and would again!

I liked a previous reviewers suggestion to use 2 water pressure regulator gauges - pressure is dangerously high. The park was full on the weekends, plenty of availability weekdays. The internet was great for streaming on the weekdays, not as good on weekends. We did check one other park in the area. Sundermeier offers better shelter from the wind, but probably has more road noise. And the occasional train overhead. And great walking access to the park & trail area along the very nearby Missouri.

The park is very basic and pretty much a parking lot with grass between the sites. We had a back in site, #78, which was wide, however the extra space is taken up because our truck had to be parked next to the 5th wheel. All utilities worked well however there was a urine smell on the grass behind our site. It was strong enough that the neighbor on our front side questioned the smell too. The bathrooms were well lit and clean. There was a laundry room, as well. There is no area to walk pets and it is expected that pets would be walked behind the park along the trail. When it rains, that is a little too far. There is a train tressel and some traffic noise from the freeway, but it didn't bother me. It was an acceptable place to stay for 1-2 days.

We weren't able to stay at this park. We were really looking forward to it. We are full timers in a 2020 motorhome so a monthly stay is usually a must.
We had records of emailing with the park (with 2 different receptionists from Carolyn & Darlene) and kindly requested some availability and were clearly told a monthly rate/availability. And they were nice and prompt which we appreciated.
When calling to make the reservation : they informed us don't offered monthly, so i had to find our emails clearly stating they did. They backtracked a bit, despite reviewing our emails again and told us they were full. We were put on hold for several minutes a few times to tell us no. Our rig isn't old, we work fulltime, we have a non restricted breed dog but we are younger...
It's unfortunate that there was a clear misunderstanding and felt as if they were trying to dodge our request and we couldn't get a site.
I'm sure it's an excellent park once you're there, i just didn't get that when calling and trying to make reservation.
Fyi for those curious, we were told their monthly sites are $775 + electric with a $200 deposit for electric.
