We called early in the morning for a same day reservation and got lucky to get a place, so plan ahead for best results. The site is very level and very long. We have a 36' TT and crew cab pickup, and we fit with room to spare. The park is very clean and the grounds are well tended to.
The bathrooms and showers are closed because of COVID-19.
10/10 will come again when I pass through this way.
They lost a star because of rule 29. I've been in prohibition hell for three weeks and this is the first legal place I've gotten to and I can't consume? I noticed there's no rules against alcohol or tobacco. Good thing my dog likes long walks...

We just needed a place in town for one night, so took a chance on this place based on Campendium and other reviews. Check in took way longer than it should have. The office doesn't have a check in desk like most RV parks. A young woman sitting at a desk in a room with the door open was talking on the phone to another customer, making a reservation by what we could gather from her side of the conversation. She wan't very prompt at making eye contact with us or acknowledging our presence in some manner while she continued to talk on the phone. We felt a little like we were waiting to see the loan officer at the bank or something, but at least there they offer you coffee while you wait.
After finally getting checked in things went smoothly. Our site was spacious, but there was no picnic table and little shade. There are only two restrooms for the entire park and they are located behind the office. Each restroom is unisex, accessed with a code and has a private toilet, sink and shower. Also behind the office is a nice little patio area with a palm frond covered ramada and tables and chairs for lounging around. Everything in the park is very clean. There is a gate in the concrete perimeter wall that provides easy access to the Smiths supermarket in the adjacent shopping center.
One weird thing was that after dinner a Schwann's delivery truck pulled into the spot next to us, plugged in and stayed there the entire night with it's refrigeration unit running. Did the delivery driver sleep in the cab or in the back of the truck with the frozen ice cream bars and steaks? Dunno!
I checked yes that we'd stay here again, but it wouldn't be our first choice.

Linda made it all so easy. We arrived late so instructions were left conveniently at the office. Place was neat, clean, and very quiet. We had our kids and we felt very safe. Bathroom were big and pretty clean. We’ll be back if we’re ever in the area.

This was a great stop. The ladies I spoke with on the phone to make the reservations were friendly and helpful. We arranged for a late arrival. The park was immaculate. My husband was pleased with the layout which allowed for wide turns in to our pull through spot.

We were heading to Yellowstone and needed a one night stopover. We found this park to be friendly, very clean and very well located- you can walk to the grocery store.
It was 100 degrees out, so we needed the full hookups- everything worked great.
It was a perfect stop and we would definitely stay here again.

But it wouldn't be my first choice....we were spending the week with friends, so this was convenient to where they were staying. Right next to the Smith's grocery - and the freeway. But it was a very clean park, very clean restrooms/showers and very clean laundry. Lots of long termers around the periphery and short termers in the middle. The sites are gravel - large rocks - with no patio or picnic table. They are very long and quite wide with a few shrubs in between each. Between each site was a shortish light pole. The light was so bright we covered it with a bucket at night. Cable TV worked well, but the wifi never worked - not even mid day when there was no one around. We had 2-3 bars of ATT 4G and that didn't work very well either. All that said, Mesquite is a nice and growing town. Lots of paved roads to nothing - in anticipation of rapid growth, I imagine. I would stop over here on the way to somewhere else.
