RV park is fantastic, with immaculate, spacious sites. It's a bit pricey, but the quality justifies the cost. The location near town is beautiful, and I always look forward to visiting. Site 139 in the elite section is my favorite.

Expensive without a discount code though. Thinking best time to visit may be late spring or early fall when kids are still in school and the pools are warm. So says a newly retired person. 🤣

What a pleasant surprise. I'm so wary of RV parks calling themselves "resorts"--but this place really delivered. The clubhouses, gym, pools, splash zone, dog parks, Bacci ball, large sites, lovely views and great internet (not great cell)....I could go on. Super impressed. We wished we could go back in time when our kids were little and bring them here. They would have had a blast at the pool, riding bikes around and burning all their money at the little arcade. We didn't take advantage of the gym, but it was well equipped. There are short trails all over with little educational kiosks about the native wildlife.
It's a central location for visiting wineries, and a short drive to downtown Paso.
Yes, it was expensive--but we've paid way more for "resorts" in name only.
The place is new-ish, so the foliage between sites hasn't matured. Had we visited when the place was full, we probably would have felt more crowded. If I strained for one complaint, it would be that there was some evidence of partying (glass, beer cans, etc.) on the surrounding trails. It was kind of surprising given the park was immaculate.

Not so much for the people. Tarmac and gravel, cement pads for the picnic table. Wide streets so great for big rigs. Huge area. Restrooms were in buildings a bit far for us from our location but we did t use them anyway. Folks enjoying the fire pit, ours was sitting near the road oddly. Nice that the sites don't see the neighbors hookups, covered with bushes. Not a lot of shade trees although many planted. Kids would absolutely love this place. Resort vibe. Pricey

This is not a place for peace and quiet but if you have kids it’s awesome. Our dog had a great time in the meadows and hiking along the dry creek bed. Lots of political flags - would prefer a total ban on all flag and banners personally otherwise it gives a weird vibe when there a clusters like we saw here. Little enforcement from what we could see with kids hot rodding the golf carts and biking/driving too fast.

Site type: Back-in, FHU, 50 AMP, end of row.
Would stay again for a night or two, but not more.
THE GOOD
Location: Gas pumps 1 mile down the road. Restaurants and groceries 1-2 miles away. Close to lots of vineyards.
Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained!
Office/Store: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Lots of gifts available.
Site: We had an end site which is nice for our pups because you get some extra space.
Wifi: The campground WiFi was decent enough for light computer work.
THE BAD:
Sites: Gravel. For what you pay, I expect better (grass or landscaping) compared to other places that are similar in the same region.
Party-place: Too many party people for us. Drunk and loud bro-vibe mixed in with a small amount of nice families. The families were also expressing their frustration with the party-vibe and wished the campground did more to help.
Political flags: Just lots of them here and the campground folks also had them on their carts.

This resort, now of the Sun Outdoors brand, has all the makings of a 5-star rv resort. Beautiful views, nicely appointed spaces, good amenities. However, I think the number of guests overran the staff’s ability to keep things clean. Bathrooms were a mess on the weekends. Hopefully they can get this resolved shortly!

Not so crowded during the week and that was reflected in the price of $86/nt. Weekends went up to $136/nt and the place was much more full. I stayed 4 weekdays and then extended by 2 days and had to move because someone had specifically selected my site (not their fault, of course!). It gave me a chance to experience more than 1 site and both sites were perfectly flat, spacious pull-thrus. Both had picnic tables and firepit. The main clubhouse area with pool and hottub are beautiful. There's a bistro that looked like it was serving wine, outdoor grills, pizza oven (for staff only), seating, fire pits. I'm guessing this area is super popular in the summer but no one was there this time of year. The resort will look amazing when the plants grow in. Now it has that new housing development look to it.
Wifi was OK for non-zoom work, browsing, etc even though I paid extra for the upgraded internet ($10 for 3 days) you can supposedly use for streaming. It worked fine for a movie, not fine for 1 zoom call, OK for another.
