Probably the best RV park we have ever stayed in. Site type: Back-in, FHU, 50 AMP, end of row.
Would stay again for a night or two, but not more.
THE GOOD
Location: Gas pumps 1 mile down the road. Restaurants and groceries 1-2 miles away. Close to lots of vineyards.
Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained!
Office/Store: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Lots of gifts available.
Site: We had an end site which is nice for our pups because you get some extra space.
Wifi: The campground WiFi was decent enough for light computer work.
THE BAD:
Sites: Gravel. For what you pay, I expect better (grass or landscaping) compared to other places that are similar in the same region.
Party-place: Too many party people for us. Drunk and loud bro-vibe mixed in with a small amount of nice families. The families were also expressing their frustration with the party-vibe and wished the campground did more to help.
Political flags: Just lots of them here and the campground folks also had them on their carts.

This resort, now of the Sun Outdoors brand, has all the makings of a 5-star rv resort. Beautiful views, nicely appointed spaces, good amenities. However, I think the number of guests overran the staff’s ability to keep things clean. Bathrooms were a mess on the weekends. Hopefully they can get this resolved shortly!

Not so crowded during the week and that was reflected in the price of $86/nt. Weekends went up to $136/nt and the place was much more full. I stayed 4 weekdays and then extended by 2 days and had to move because someone had specifically selected my site (not their fault, of course!). It gave me a chance to experience more than 1 site and both sites were perfectly flat, spacious pull-thrus. Both had picnic tables and firepit. The main clubhouse area with pool and hottub are beautiful. There's a bistro that looked like it was serving wine, outdoor grills, pizza oven (for staff only), seating, fire pits. I'm guessing this area is super popular in the summer but no one was there this time of year. The resort will look amazing when the plants grow in. Now it has that new housing development look to it.
Wifi was OK for non-zoom work, browsing, etc even though I paid extra for the upgraded internet ($10 for 3 days) you can supposedly use for streaming. It worked fine for a movie, not fine for 1 zoom call, OK for another.

Visited/ stayed at this park multiple times over the last few years. A resort like setting in wine country. Park attracts alot of weekend partyers, but vast majority do it classy ...grilling their trip tip and sipping the local vino. Fun atmosphere, beautiful views and of course access to all the central coast has to offer.

Unfortunately, that's where the charm ended for us. We came at the tail end of spring break and the park wasn't full, but was very busy and loud. Lots of large groups in the park and the pools were packed. The staff was less than friendly and check-in was not smooth. There were no golf carts available and the staff refused to put us on the waitlist for any cart smaller than a 6-seater due to the fact that we had 5 in our group, even when we assured them that we wouldn't all use it at once.
If you are familiar with Paso Robles, you know how hot and windy it gets! None of the sites have shade and few are sheltered from the winds that pick up every day. With the proximity of the campground to wineries, downtown Paso and even San Luis Obispo, we were hoping for a campground with some local character and charm. But, alas, we were left feeling like we were in the campground version of a planned housing community. This might be a good option if you're coordinating a large group trip, but it just wasn't our type of experience.

Store did not have much to offer but you are in town so everything you need is close by. A food truck was on site most days.
They have two pools and lots of families to go with them. Not sure if it’s common but Friday and Saturday were party nights with loud music going until 2 am.
Bottom line for us despite the amenities, not a place I consider relaxing or enjoyable and will look elsewhere in the future.

One strange thing that seems to be an oversight is that on a few stretches of road in the park where there is no side area to walk there are no sidewalks and blind corners. This can make things dangerous for walkers and bikers especially when people don't observe the 10 mph speed limit. Be careful letting children play on these roads.
There is a bit of noise from the airport as other reviewer's have said, but it's mostly small prop planes not large passenger jets. We did not have an issue with the noise.
Finally, we probably would have felt more welcome if management would have some flag rules. There were a large amount of political flags being flown. At this price point for an RV park, typically there is some sort of limitation on number of flags or offensiveness of flags. There were so many flags, it felt more like a political rally than a campground.

We enjoyed our stay here. Arrived at the resort and check in only took minutes. Our reservation packet was available for pick up with very little interaction required. They even provided a small travel kit with masks and hand sanitizer. Staff was very friendly on arrival. Resort was new as others have stated. Sites are well spaced and had no issues with noise. Sites were level and a nice picnic table and great fire pit was provided on the concrete slab patio. Sites offered 30A and 50A along with a separate 110 V outlet. 2 water spigots made it easy to use. Was great to see all the families and kids riding about and being friendly. The vegetation has not grown in yet and will be great when they are. Some sites along the hills have great views of vineyards. One note is the resort is not to far from the Paso Robles airport so we did experience some noise from aircraft. However it being their gave us a small airshow of old and new military aircaft fly by's.
