"Space 43 at Sun Outdoors Coos Bay is the best! This is my second time staying here, and I absolutely love this campground. The site is level and conveniently located near the path that leads to the most stunning beach. Highly recommend!"

Overall Rating
Very clean bathrooms and showers. The sites are what you would expect for a campground. A little close together but what more than makes up for that is the very short walk that is available to the most beautiful beach. Like, take your breath away beach and views. Well worth the stay!

Campground had no site number directional signs, (the sites are numbered but a sign saying 1 to 14 with an arrow would have been nice) and the paper map was pretty useless. We had a premium pull through but couldn’t figure out how to get into it. The access road to the site was so narrow it looked more like a walking path. It would ... more
Campground had no site number directional signs, (the sites are numbered but a sign saying 1 to 14 with an arrow would have been nice) and the paper map was pretty useless. We had a premium pull through but couldn’t figure out how to get into it. The access road to the site was so narrow it looked more like a walking path. It would help if they would escort to the sites. The grass was brown with little vegetation other than pine trees and grass. No privacy between sites. Each site is big and does have a fire pit and picnic table. Our site was mostly level. The Wi-Fi worked sporadically but they are in the process of upgrading the system. Cable tv worked well

Great location… just a short hike to the beach! We had a day that we were able to relax on the semi-private beach. The sites are all spacious… though, not sure why places like this don’t take better care of the property… leveling sites, watering the grass, etc. Only interaction with staff was at checkin. We had spot 32. It was a beautiful view of the beach. People were friendly and the park was kept nicely. The only negative was the laundry room. It had one washer and one dryer.

We will be returning. The staff was super polite and helpful. The park was clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Super great access to the beach at multiple parts of the park. Little fitness room that had enough equipment to get your body moving. Our first site (32) had the sewer hook up too far back in the site so that was a bummer... more
We will be returning. The staff was super polite and helpful. The park was clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Super great access to the beach at multiple parts of the park. Little fitness room that had enough equipment to get your body moving. Our first site (32) had the sewer hook up too far back in the site so that was a bummer, but we added a night and a quick switch to site 29 was much better for our sewer hook up. The view from site 32 was beautiful. We felt safe and completely comfortable. Lots of people with dogs!

We arrived a bit early and that was no problem. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed an extra day because they could accommodate our Motorhome and cargo trailer without unhooking the trailer. Pet friendly. Beach access was very nearby. Will definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for a week in late summer and really enjoyed my stay. I was able to use the provided (upgraded) WiFi to work without any issues. The grounds and facilities are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and in a beautiful location.

Nice, clean RV park a super short walk from the beach. The site wasnt fancy but was perfectly acceptable. We were glad we didn’t try to pay for premium spots as all they don’t offer actual views; they are adjacent to the beach path.
We arrived after closing an all our info was readily available for us in the after-hours black mail box by the office. Wifi had a few blinks but was mostly ok. (We both were working and didn’t have any major connectivity issues.)

“Don’t try and visit after hours without a reservation”

We tried a last minute stop. The place was 75% empty in may. No one around to see about getting a site for the night. Website says 2 nights minimum. But still no way to see about using for one night.
Lost business for the park.
Park looked great and was close to the activities we wanted for the next day. Too bad.
