Question about Sultan Dispersed Camping Area

Planning a trip to Sultan Camping Area for Oct 23-29. Does anyone think snow will be an issue here that time of year?

According to the "Climate" section on Wikipedia's Silverton page the average snowfall is 8.5 inches in October and then 20 inches in November. I therefore would say that, yes, end of October snow can be an issue at the Sultan Camping Area. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverton,_Colorado#Climate

I live nearby. It has already snowed in the mountains. The nights are very cold. Daytime temps maybe reach 45-50. End of October is much too late to camp that high.

End of Oct 2020 we were in the area and they had a good snow the week before we were there so couldn't do much of the mountain trails we wanted. I'd be weary.

Probably not, I really think I won’t start snowing until at least late Nov.
