We arrived here after camping in Two Harbors for a week. Arrived late Sunday afternoon to an empty campground. Out of the eight spots three have really good lake views. Each spot has a new fire ring with grate and it looks like a relatively new pit toilet. There is water available via well/hand pump. Bring a container. The sites are small as is the access road. Small travel trailers ~25ft or vans are best for this location. Pay station located at entrance. Overall a great spot for our needs.

Friends and I came here when every first come first serve campsite on Lake Superior was full. Going inland was the best decision we could have made, the drive through Superior National Forest was gorgeous and the campsite was well out of range of any cell towers (A plus for me but obviously not all campers enjoy that). Despite its seclusion and privacy the campsite is very easy to find and well marked on the roads leading to it. There was only 11 sites at this campground but 5 were still open when we arrived 7 p.m. on a Saturday. A few of the sites are right on the lake. The campgrounds are generously sized, well spaced, and clean. I could not see any other sites from mine and could barely hear the other campers. Overall, wonderful and peaceful outdoor experience.
