“$7 entry fee + $26/night for nice paved sites, but NO amenities!”

I did not expect to pay $33 for a site with no amenities, not even a dump & water fill station. We were here on a Sunday night in August and there were only two other sites occupied - I wonder why!? They do offer half off the $26 fee for seniors, but only Monday through Thursday nights.

This is the Sugarloaf Unit at Lake Cascade in west central Idaho. We stayed here for the Eclipse in August of 2017. It's approx. 2 miles off the main road and we found it to be very peaceful and quiet. You will be boon docking with your trailer if you have one. There are vault toilets and they are kept up everyday by the parks departm... more
