Water was off when we were here because of winter temps. Really great walking paths along the creek, during the summer they have an aquatic center with two water slides. Horse shoe court, tennis court, baseball fields, a lot to offer here! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back some day. We fit fine in our 30ft TT and saw someone else in a much larger fifth wheel staying here as well

I felt safe here with my 2 dogs and enjoyed things like the city park walking trail, the local gym, and some of the shops. 10/10 would stay again!

Nice, free overnight spot. Sites are very close together. Used to be our go-to stopping point but seems to always be full of locals living long term.

We stayed here one night and highly recommend. The max stay is 4 days. There’s a $20 suggested donation per night, but is ultimately free. The pool offers $2 showers for campers when they’re open. The showers aren’t the best, but they get the job done. The pool is $4 for adults and $3 for kids. The concession stands are very cheap for food. It was a great activity before getting back on the road. There is also lots of shade at the sites with a little creek for the kids to play in. As others have said, the water was shared between sites and we just used a splitter. The site we stayed in was level. 0’s on both sides. The dump site was conveniently located at the exit and has a screw lid so you can dump without fearing it will spray everywhere. They provide a hose for wash outs.

Free water, power, dumpster, and a dump station! Super cute spot with a park for the kiddos. They ask for donations to use the power and I would if I could. I’m also not using the power but it is free overall. Highly recommended. Gas station and snacks right across the street. Can stay for 4 nights!

“If You Like Train Whistles, This Is For You”
Reviewed 3/31/2023
So much potential but there were so many train whistles that all the goodness is overshadowed. Free parking with electricity and a picnic table in a lovely town park. Website states by donation but I did not see a donation box. The trains came by every 10 minutes always with lots of whistles didn’t sleep a wink

City asks for donations and has a donation box at entrance. I took off one star for TRAINS. Very scenic and the fall colors were beautiful. Walking trails, park, tennis courts, and pool (closed for the season). 18 spots

When we stopped tonight several of the same campers were still there. Bathroom was also very dirty with feces on the floor. No idea who put it there so may have nothing to do with the campers. Harder to get a spot when so many are taken by long term campers. Park rules state campers should not be there longer than 4 days but that doesn’t seem to be enforced.
On the positive side the park is beautiful. Water and electricity provided. Donations are requested and we typically leave $20. Plenty of room to walk the dogs in the beautiful park.
