Big Sites, Your Neighbor Is Not On Top Of You. Most of the sites have good to great views of the lake.

We had to stay here unexpectedly for several days. The girl that helped me with getting here was great (so sorry I forget her name- thing it was Deidre). We had never been here before so pleasantly surprise to be welcomed to a very large spot looking over the lake. As a campground visitor you have access to the lodge amenities although I have read different processes on that with COVID policies. I was told we could use the pool, hot tub and fitness center. There are several trail you can take around the lake or golf course.
We did do dinner that the lodge restaurant- seemed overpriced and just mediocre food.
I would definitely come back when visiting family in the area.

The park is beautiful and the sites are quite large, unfortunately the site was littered with so many cigarette butts it was quite disgusting. I spent the first hour cleaning up the butts and other plastic debris. Too bad.

Our lake-view site was ok, some spots have a better view than others. Campsites are nicely spaced but not private. All campsites are full-hook up back-in with asphalt pad, picnic table & fire ring. Most sites are 20/30 amp power, some have 50 amp.
The resort allowed us to get mail while we were here. Plan on it taking an extra day to get to your site after mail gets sorted.
We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi at the resort a couple times. It cost us $15 + tax for each visit which includes access to the gym and locker room.
There were 2 channels of public television on over the air hdtv.

This is a very popular place and they take reservations up to a year in advance. Some of the more popular dates in summer get booked up quickly.
This is our second time here and we will try to come back more frequently.
