“Small, picturesque, well maintained campsite”

Very nice camp. Camp hosts are friendly, and knowledgeable. The sites are clean, tent pads are nice (flat, clear of rocks). Pit toilets are likewise clean and free of odor.

Reviewed Jul 01, 2019

Overall Rating

Sites were fairly level and set up with nice fire rings, tables and grill stands. Occasional freeway noise but nothing too distracting. Lower loop spots are close to ATV roads-potentially more noisy and dusty if stayi... more

“Quiet & Peaceful”

We spent one night here on our way back home to Florida from Alaska. Most of the sites were reserved because of the eclipse, but the camp hosts were vary nice and gave us the very sweet campsite #5 for one night because it wasn't reserved until the 19th. This is a dry camping site and we got it for $5 because of our Senior Pass. Sweet ... more

Starter creek is Modestly provisioned National Forest Campground between two places… here and there. There are two sections - an upped loop and row of campsites - nine in total. The upper loop offers a group campsite and nine or ten Individual sites. The lower row is where we stayed, which is adjacent to a gravel road leading to ... more

“Quiet and clean”

Reviewed Sep 07, 2016

Overall Rating

We stayed here just after Labor day and were the only campers in the park. There was some ATV activity, but nothing that was annoying. Apparently there a quite a few trails for off-road fun or hiking. Be prepared to have a mooh-alarm clock around 7am, when the cows walk by the trailer (on the lower part of the campground). Apparently... more
