You can only pay in cash or check, neither of which we had so we couldn’t stay. Plus showers weren’t working anyway. Driving around, the campground was packed! We got there around 4pm and only saw one site that was open and it was non electric. There’s a nice dispersed campground just north of here called Stillwater dispersed and while we didn’t have amazing lake views, we did have a great spot and better than paying $28 just to park with no hookups and no shower. We just used the dump station ($5) and left.

Lake is low as are most in the west. Water system down for maintenance. Our 42 foot 5th wheel fit comfortably. Our Version (Visible) and T-Mobile connections were good. Didn't try our AT&T because we didn't need it. Would DEFINITELY stay here again. 5 stars. Can hear road noise a bit but not bothersome.

Many of the campgrounds in RMNP are closed due to COVID and recent forest fires. So the close proximity to RMNP and the town of Grand Lake are the main selling points for this campground. We had a great view of Lake Granby and the surrounding mountains. Every day around 5 pm, a beautiful red fox would make an appearance behind our trailer, survey the area and then trot off to find dinner. (Keep your pets on a leash!) Over all, I think this is a great base camp for exploring RMNP. We would stay here again
PROS - Quiet and great views.
Town of Grand is close by and beautiful.
Plenty of space between sites.
Lots of hiking in the area outside of RMNP.
CONS - Bathrooms need to be swept. The same debris was on the floors on day one as on day five.
Showers need to be overhauled and/or repaired.

Was also going to dump but it was an extra fee so I waited for the next campsite.

It is 20 minutes to the Grand Lake (East) side of Rocky Mountain National Park so that's a huge plus. There are two beautiful lakes to play on and there's a boat ramp at this campground (only launch from the ramp, including paddlecraft). The campground is a series of descending loops so you have great views from most of them - there is a back loop close to the road that doesn't so check the map. Classic Colorado mountains and clouds, chilly mornings and warmer afternoons.
There are showers, flush toilets, and two dump stations. It says $5 for dump but it's unclear if that's for campers or non-campers. Sites are gravel and the picnic tables and firepits are typically a few stairs away from the RV pad. Didn't have much trouble with wildlife and the road noise isn't bad on the lake side.
No hookups but there are water spigots frequently throughout the campground. Signal is OK (but 5G in town). There's a grocery store and some cute shops but for a robust supply run you need to go to Granby which isn't far.
Check the NPS website you may need reservations to get into Rocky Mountain National Park. This side isn't nearly as busy as Estes. There's also some mountain biking trails by the golf course in town and three or four picnic and fishing areas on the road on the way to Grand Lake.

The campgrounds were clean and we'll maintained. Two biggest drawbacks we're the showers were closed (Covid) and there was a state wide fire restriction. Great walking paths too. Access was a little tight but we managed our 35ft class A and two tow vehicle all one one spot.

There are a lot of sites really packed together in a relatively small space.
Wind is strong enough every day to wreck a pop up tent (as evidence of the tent skeletons by most dumpsters). Our REI basecamp 6 had 3 of 5 tent poles bent by the strong wind.
The bathrooms are all flush toilets with sinks. The loop C bathroom was poorly maintained by the loop C hosts. The showers are closed for the season due to COVID.
Many sites are also within earshot of the highway, and a considerable amount of road noise should be expected.
